I've greeted death
Like an old lost friend
So close we have become.
I feel as though he
Is the only one who
Cares.
I've been here before.
Its all so familiar to me.
All of my body laying
thick with the sin I feel,
But death was there.
He assured me I'd
Make it, even though
I felt like I couldn't.
And one day when my
Sin filled body falls,
I shall gwt my old friend
And say
" hello again death "
