Panting, sweating and silenced, me and Tia made our way back to our pack hideout. It was getting to about 4:00pm and for alphas and baiters that's feeding time. We smiled at eachother and went our separate ways. I made my way to feeding point and I'd expect Tia had gone to see her parents. My father stood confidently at the front with two dead deers behind him. With there only being 2 alphas and 4 alpha baiters, we were pretty well fed. He ushered us all over and we tucked in, ripping the fur and meat from every bone and leaving the head in respect. That was a way of telling the humans this was our turf too. They saw it as barbaric and feared us. I never really understood and just left it at that.

2 hours later, filled up and ready to pass the other two deer my dad had killed over to the omegas, I trotted up to the old abandoned house me and Tia used as shelter in storms. Storms were frequently destroying the door panels so me and Tia would put rocks in front of the door to strengthen it. Usually it worked but the last storm must have really been strong because the door was at the bottom of the Hill. I rolled my eyes and carried on walking up to the house. Walking in, I could tell there was something wrong. I could smell a wolf. I reared back ready to fight whatever came out of the darkness. I was surprised to see it was a Grey wolf, clearly not from my pack. We rub ourselves in moss to give out a musty smell to tell everyone who we are. No, this wolf smelled of... Lemon! "Please! Don't hurt me!" she whimpered. I couldn't believe there were wolves that smell of lemons! I was hooked on the smell and so I moved in for a closer look at this strange, mystery wolf.

"Where do you come from?" I asked as confidently as possible.

"The... The town over... There..." She nodded to a small town known to all wolves as 'danger'. How though, I thought. How does a wolf come from a humans town?

"That's a lie! Wolves live in forests, not towns!" She looked at me like I was thick so I lunged forward pinning her on the covers me and Tia had collected over the years. "Stop, please!" She sounded genuine so I let go of her so she could explain. "I'm a zoo wolf. There are seven of us." assuming she was telling the truth, I started down to hear more of this 'zoo'. "A zoo is where humans keep wild animals. Granted, they feed us but other people come to see us and expect us to do tricks and things like that."

"That sounds horrible!" I said.

"Yeah and that's why I'm here. I escaped!"

"So, you're going to try and help your friends, right?"

"Ermm... I was sort of thinking you could help..?"
