"Giyuu, you weren't like this before, right? " Tsukika asked the Water Pillar, who was sitting on the platform that stretched out from the house.
Giyuu Tomioka just looked away, avoiding Tsukika's concerning glance. Feeling that he didn't want to talk about this topic. Tsukika started to pet the orange tabby Nana, as Nana began to purr on her lap.
" Tsukika, you're right." Giyuu let out all of a sudden, but still kept his eyes staring away.
Tsukika knew he was a man of very few words, it would be hard for him to say any more. She shifted herself closer to him, close enough to rest her head on his shoulder. Nana clinged herself steady to Tsukika's lap so she didn't fall off.
" I see." Tsukika softly conveyed.
The Water Pillar seemed to be in surprise as Tsukika rested her head on his shoulder. Giyuu's mid-night blue pupils eyes widened, he didn't shiver, but to let the sapphire-eyed maiden keep resting. Nana stretched one of her claws, touching Giyuu's geometric-patterned side of haori. Giyuu cautiously reached out his hand, considering the last time he was attacked by this naughty feline. To his surprise, Nana lightly rubbed her chin on the back of his hand. He rubbed his hand against the cat's soft fur on its chin in return. Nana let out more purring sound and decided to rest her head on Giyuu's lap with her legs and tail on Tsukika's side.
A slight smile came into view on the Water Pillar's face. He took a glance at Tsukika, finding out she had already fallen asleep. She must be tired after all that had happened, just like him.
At least, she knew the truth. Somehow I am glad that she knew.
