Chapter 2

Before Chloe start talking about the plan we heard a knock on the door. I stand up to open the door and it was my mother with her best friend who is also our neighbour.

My mother give me her warm smile before greeting me, "hello honey! Hope tou had a good sleep, i know your not a fan of changes".

"Actually i had a good sleep", i return my smile and greet Gina, my mother's best friend and i considered her as my aunt since im so close to her.

"Hey auntie how are you today!"

"Im more than fine darling. I have my best friend and favourite girls who live besides me". She gives me a hug and caress my hair. Oh no, i know when she does this it means that she pitty me, something going to happen orrrr someone's going to give me an unpleasant scenario.

I give Gina a look of 'its what im thinking about right?', and she nodded.

"Okay shall we sit down in the living room?", my mom claps her hand and leave us to the living room and greets Emily and Chloe. She patted the seat besides her. I comply and sit waiting for her speech which i've heard more than the days i had lived since i was born.

My mother cleared her thought and start her speech.
"Honey you know how much i love you, to see you smile with a better future than mine. And you know that i can't leave my daughter without a man besides her who will protect her and never leave her side. Not to mention i want to see grandchildren before i die. So-", Oh god here we go, " you know that the son of Gemma, one of our neighbour in our village lives here, he is a doctor with good salary and has his own house, not to mention he had a crush on you back when you were 10. He is coming with his parents next week you know to talk and get to know each other more."

My blood is boiling from anger, Emily and Chloe look at me with their eyes telling me to calm down because they know that my storm is coming, and Gina is giving me a pitty look. At take a deep breath and look at mother.

"Mom. We talked about this issue more that hundred times and you know that i want to find my lover by myself and for god's sake im just 20 i have time to find someone without the others help. Im a grown woman and can take care of myself".

She grabs my hand and speaks, "look you think that its to soon but days passed quickly and i can't live happily without guaranteeing a future for my only daughter." Before i get to speak she stops me, "anndd its the and of our discussion be ready next week to meet him. You may go to your room with your friend".

The three of us stand up and head toward my room, well not exactly. Emily and Chloe live in different appartment but since we are every day with each others and Chloe works as the head of the finance department at cosmetic business. While Emily works as a nurse at a hospital which not far from my house same as for Chloe. So basically i made a place in my room for them and im very happy with them. Their basically my sisters that i always wished that i had.

Back to the main subject, we sit in our room and take a deep breath processing what just happened and the idea that we're back to square one. Chloe brought us back from our thought and said. "Okay girls you just heard that their coming next week so we have one week to make a plan. So listen to me i have an idea like i said before and eventually it will work".

Me and Emily listen to every word Chloe is saying desperate for a solution to stop this craziness. Chloe stands up and makes sure that no one is behind the door and comes back to start telling us about the plan. "Okay lets begin".

Jason pov

"Son don't be stubborn and listen to me for once. You know that Gabriel is one of my friends and i can't left him without helping him. His daughter thinks that she's a princess and don't take this life seriously. He wants me to give her a position in the company and after he saw the news about the need of a personal assistant to the CEO which is you, i couldn't refuse it."

I rub my temple loosing patience.
"Father, you know that in can't tolerate employees who are stupid even if i don'tknow who is this girl, we take our work seriously".

"I know Jason but just do me this favour and tolerate her for a short time".

"Uh fine but who mistake and i will fire her without even thinking".

"Thank you son just don't be harsh on her she is new to his".

I nod and stand up to go before my meeting starts. Before leaving i turn around to be met with my father's eyes.

"What her name?" I ask him with a boring face.

"Grace".

"Great" i storm out of the room.
