I felt a since of discomfort as I went back in the treehouse. I stared at the black phone in my hand, not sure if it still worked or what to do with it. when I pressed the power button I was surprised that it still had a lithe battery 20 percent. there were several unread messages on the screen, I assume it's probably who ever was his current girlfriend was. sometimes I loose count of who is girlfriend is because he never keeps a girl longer than two weeks after Sky left to continue her education in London private high school or something.

I don't know why but I feel the need to text her or something to make sure she knows about how him. I put in his password which is my birthday and went to his his messages. The girl must have been texting him before the fire and during because it had text messages from 12:00pm when we were at the mall.

He must have been ignoring her, I was scrolling up to find her name because she wasn't saved as a contact, that's when a
when a word caught my eye. It said " give me what I want and you won't DIE" my mouth dropped and my mind started racing with ideas that maybe some girl was harassing him or that this chick is the one who set the house on fire. But then that's impossible because the fire department said it was a oil leak inside the house. Curiosity got the best of me and I strolled up to their first messages but when I tried to scroll up it stopped there. I can Get it tell that they early messages have been deleted, which is weird because he never deleted anything out of his phone because he know nobody goes through his phone but me.

Well I don't even do that because last time I looked through his messages, I seen something from other that I didn't want to see. It felt like so long ago when Jessie used to tease me about how it was my fault for going though his phone. A raspy laugh came though my tears that I didn't know we're there. I wiped my tear streaked face with my shirt and continued read the messages. Most of them were threats and Jessie saying no you can't have her over and over. I made the assumption that this is not a girlfriend but more like a angry ex boyfriend to whoever this girl is. A jealous and selfish thought skimmed through my mind, and it was why hadn't he told me about this crazy person threatening his life over and over.

"Kylie Hazle Davenport please come with me" said a unfamiliar voice. I whipped my head in the direction of the voice, to find an utterly perfect boy sitting in the makeshift window seal.
