𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐇

07:21 AM | 1998 JUNE 18
THE ARKLAY MOUNTAINS

FLASHING lights of cameras,
bright yellow barricade tape,
authorities in their uniforms
and wailing family members
insisting to enter the premise
surrounded the dead Arklay
Mountain.

Fresh blood drenched the soil,
rottening the fresh yet already
dirty land where fresh corpses
of teenagers lies morbidly.

Stood before the bodies was
a woman. Doning an formal
attire in that wide pants and
blazer. An ID clipped on her
right chest, a symbol of white
and red umbrella on it.

Hands on her pockets, staring
down stoically the dead boy's
body.

Ribs jutted out of the sunken
cavity of the chest. A pile of
entrails and rended flesh on
his side. Face mangled, only
the left upper part was intact.

The sight was the fifth of the
known mysterious deaths case
around the Arklay Mountains.

The group of thirteen youths
was found dead at their trailer
and camp at Arklay Mountains
using the phone location of one
of the reported missing victims
two days ago.

The group was thrill seekers
and was heard by some their
other friends and classmates to
be curious about the rumour of
a grizzly bear around the area.

A rumour that was replaced
at 16th of June with that of a
pack of particularly aggressive
dogs, which had been sighted
by hikers.

It was said that the teenagers
told their parents about their
night camp with their group
but not at Arklay Mountains.

The police determined that the
kids had died of blood loss, the
result of suffering that same
vigorous bites to their necks,

Which was found on the recent
victims, as well as the extensive
mutilations—ripped open faces
and excavated bellies.

The investigation conducted by
the Raccoon Police Department
was extensive, but they yielded
no results but they had quickly
determined cannibalism to be
part of the murders.

Along with a theory that the
murders were committed by a
group of cultists, who consume
narcotics before killing then
eating their human sacrifices.

The police began questioning
the Raccoon General Hospital
and pharmacies, hoping to find
patients with suspicious injury.

But these investigations made
no progress. It was pointless.

An officer walked over the
woman's direction, looking
around the gut-flipping yet
pitiful sight and stood next
to her.

Frowning, "What do you think
really happened to them?" The
officer, Elliot Edward asked her,
eyes at the corpse by the folded
red chair, that was taken slowly
by coroners, careful not to rip it
apart.
