Chapter Twelve:The three colors of Haki

"Why are you looking for us?" Senshi asked Mihawk as his brows furrowed and he put his hand on the handle of his blade and Shanks did the same. "I wished to see how strong the two of you are in battle." Mihawk told the two of them. "Cool, I'm gonna destroy you!" Senshi shouted at Mihawk. Shanks put his arm in front of Senshi. "Now wait a minute, You don't know Haki so I doubt you could handle Mihawk." Shanks told Senshi which caused Senshi to look back at him with a puzzled expression. "What the hell is a Haki?" Senshi asked confused.

    Mihawk sighed as he began to speak. "Haki is a mysterious power that allows the user to utilize their own spiritual energy for various purposes. It can be used to sense people's spiritual energy and predict their actions, give the user a protective coating of spiritual energy, and, for a certain group of 'chosen ones' overpower the willpower of others. All living beings in the world are capable of learning Haki; however, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it. There are three types of Haki. Conquerors Haki is a rare form of Haki that allows the user to exert their own willpower over others. This type of Haki cannot be attained through training and only one in several million people are born with this ability. It is said that whoever possesses this type of Haki has the qualities of a king, and are known as Supreme Rulers. The second type of Haki is Observation. Observation Haki is form of Haki that grants the user a sixth sense that allows them to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others, as well as gain limited precognitive abilities. The last type of Haki is Armament. is a form of Haki that allows the user to use their own spiritual energy to create, in essence, an invisible armor around themself, providing incredible offensive and defensive capabilities. Notably, this form of Haki can be used to injure Devil Fruit users that are otherwise immune to ordinary physical attacks, such as Logia users like yourself." Mihawk explained to Senshi.

"Well that canquors haki thing you mentioned sounds like something I have done for but Haki or no Haki i will still kick your ass!" Senshi told Mihawk. "I know the basics of all three myself." Shanks said as he looked at Mihawk and mentally prepared himself for battle with one of the greatest swordsman in the world. "Hmm Conquerors Users." Mihawk said to himself before taking a brief pause. "I suppose you two still could be a worthy challenge so I will fight both of you together, A 2v1." Mihawk decided as he unsheathed his permanently black blade Yoro. Shanks pulled out his blade Gryphon as he covered it and his arm in Armament Haki with a reddish coloring. Senshi pulled out his Nozomia blade. Senshi and Shanks looked at each other before they both leaped towards Mihawk. Mihawk ran past Senshi while slicing into the side of his waist with Yoru. Senshi and Shanks then turned around and Senshi ran towards Mihawk. Mihawk cut off Senshi's arm causing him to drop his Nozomia blade. Senshi fell to the floor as water formed the shape of his arm then turned into his arm.
