Cleithrophobia.

Chapter 2

'i'm still confused to why and how we managed to see a finger just.. appear and disappear into and from the painting.. ARE WE GOING CRAZY??'

Hoseok wonders. while he's busy pouncing around, Jimin is calming down abt the situation.

'hoseok. we would already be insane if we're going crazy. just look at how long we've been in this.. place.'

Both young men are very worried about the 'finger situation' as they already made a name for it. Scared, but a spark of joy lights up in their hearts, knowing that there's someone who might, just might, help them both get out of this mysterious and dangerous painting and museum.

But back with detective Taehyung, his finger and the painting had been on his mind and he couldn't get a lick of sleep ever since the incident. How did his finger manage to go through... a painting? It was confusing indeed, and stressful. But this just means that he's a step closer to finding the missing men from 'nuit ètoilèe'.

The next day passes, a few hours after 6 a.m.

After detective Taehyung gets ready for the day, he gets up and leaves for work, energized and ready to find the meaning behind the 'nuit ètoilèe' case. Before working tho, he quickly grabs a cup of coffee for he knows that his energy runs out very, very quickly :).

'hey tae! anything crazy going at the moment?'

someone familiar shouts across the distance. detective Taehyung decides not to tell the truth as the case instantly pops up in mind. he believes that he'll be made fun of if he says anything about it.

'heh.. nope.! w-what about you?'

sadly, taehyung isn't that good at lying.

'umm.. yea! my daughters birthday is coming up in 2 days and we're throwing a mind-blowing party for her! think you'll be there?'

anonymous replies. since taehyung thinks this case is almost more important than almost anything, he's a little hesitant and mutters out a small no politely.

'that's fine! there's always another birthday yk? see you around detective."

At this point, tae wants to skip everything and get straight to the investigation, it's irritating when he's not working on finding jimin and hoseok. Speaking about jimin and hoseok,

'wake up jimin.'
'yes?'
'what if he comes back?'
'who?'
'the guy from yesterday.'
'are you worried we'll never leave?"
'yea..'

jimin sits up and hugs hoseok.

'don't worry. the moment we're out of this place, i'll buy you as much 불고기 you want.'

불고기- (bulgogi, beef or pork dish, that is first marinated and then grilled on a barbecue.)

the sound of that word falling off of jimin's tongue reassures him that they'll get out. soon hopefully.

who knows what'll happen to them? it's undecided. no one knows. they just hope they'll get out of that painting quick and safely while taehyung hopes that he'll find more information about this painting, possibly with  trapped people inside.
