Chapter 2

ㅡHey!

The girl sits down.

ㅡNice to meet you! I'm Y/n! What's your name? Where do you come from? And how old are you?

ㅡI'm Yejin! I'm from USA but my parents are Korean. I am 14 years old.

ㅡHo. Me too! Call I call you with your first name?

ㅡHaha, yes!

The boy who had passed after Yejin had not been taken either. It was just the two of us. After that, they took us to another room. It was the room with the other trainees, those who were Korean. There were 5 other people, 2 girls and 3 boys. Only 2 of the 5 looked nice.

The first boy was tall and had blue hair. He wore chains and necklaces. He looked gothic. But he looked super stressed. I wanted to go and reconfirm him but we had been asked not to talk.

The second girl had an incredibly kind and funny face. I was sure she was super talented and that we would be friends. She was too cute.

After 45 minutes of waiting, other people came back to pick us up. They asked us to re-sing or re-dance in front of other people. After that, they examined if we were comfortable on camera, in front of people and if we were photogenic.

We moved back into a room to wait. I arrived around 9am and it must have been 7pm already. Earlier, I was able to eat with Yejin and we got to know each other. After another 45 minutes of waiting, the employees came back and one of them started talking.

ㅡWe have selected 3 of you. We are therefore happy to welcome as a trainee at JYP Entairtenment: L/n
Y/n, Park Yejin and Lee Chaeryeong. Please follow us to sign your contracts!

I guessed that 'Chaeryeong' was the girl who looked nice. The others looked at us with hatred before leaving. We followed the woman for our contracts.

We could sign 2, 4 or 6 year contracts. I choose 4, Yejin 2 and Chaeryeong 6.

We were told that we were going to start in 1 week, and that we therefore had this time to enjoy and to do our business. I asked the girls for their numbers. Yejin spoke English so I could communicate with her. Chaeryeong only spoke Korean. I had some basics so I could talk to her a bit, but most of the time we had to use our phones to translate.

Despite that, we got along very well and we planned to see each other all 3 during the week.

Chaeryeong was 1 year younger than me. I asked her not to call me unnie, but she couldn't.
