Peter

Wakanda was a really cool place to live, Peter had come to realize during his nearly month long stay. After the battle against Thanos, the one that ended with Tony Stark taking hold of the Infinity Stones and snapping, the remaining heroes had been offered refuge in Wakanda until things had settled down.

It was an incredible country, they had technology beyond anything Peter had ever dared to dream of. Their medical facilities were some of the most advanced in the entire world, according to King T'Challa. That was why Mr. Stark had been rushed there after the battle in the first place. He was still alive, but just barely. Peter would never forget what it was like to sit there and listen to Mr. Stark slowly die. The sounds, the smells, the visuals... it was all ingrained in Peter's head and burned into his memories.

He heard Mr. Stark's heart stop.

He had been so sure that he was never going to get to speak to Mr. Stark again after that. That he was gone, for good this time. But then Doctor Strange and T'Challa had sprung into action, and now here he was, sitting beside Mr. Stark's hospital bed, waiting for the older man to wake from a coma. One that he had been in for about a month now.

He and May were staying in Wakanda until they could figure things out back in New York, anyway. Though May had survived the snap, there were still things that Peter wasn't ready to face back home. Because apparently he had been dead for five years, and the world had continued spinning without him there.

Of course, May had insisted that nothing was the same without him, without Spider-Man

Apparently Mr. Stark's entire world had shifted the day Peter faded to dust in his arms. Though Peter didn't remember much of it, he did remember the pain. His molecules fighting to stitch themselves back together as his healing factor tried (and failed) to fight against the power of the Infinity Stones.

But things were different now.

Peter could still remember that about two months ago, he and Mr. Stark had been tinkering away in the lab at the Avengers Compound. They had been working on the web-shooters again. Two months. Well, two months for Peter anyway.

Now, Mr. Stark had a daughter. An actual small human child who was his. She was named Morgan, and apparently Peter was her big brother—according to her, anyway. Morgan was enamored with Peter and had been since she finally had the chance to meet him in Wakanda. When Peter wasn't sitting at Mr. Stark's bedside, waiting for him to wake up, he was with Morgan, entertaining her.

He enjoyed spending time with her; she reminded him of Mr. Stark. She was only about five years old, but she was bright and sassy and yeah she was definitely a Stark.

With everything going on, all of the changes that had happened in the blink of an eye for Peter, he had become rather distracted. He really hadn't meant to, because he knew she needed him with what she was going through, but Peter hadn't seen or spoken to Alex in about a week at that point.

Right, Alexandra was in Wakanda as well, with her father Leo. They were spending some time there to recuperate and to mourn. Despite the fact that Mr. Stark had survived his brush with death and a mad Titan, Colin Wallace had not been so fortunate.

Peter didn't know all the details of his death, but after Alex and Leo had spoken to Natasha about whatever events had transcribed, he knew it couldn't have been good. Alexandra practically shut down after that, spending most of her time in the apartment that T'Challa had gifted to her and her father. The pair of them didn't really leave unless they had to, and even then it was usually Leo who made the trips out.

Peter was torn. He wanted more than anything to be there for Alex. He loved her more than anything, and he didn't like that he seemingly couldn't do anything to ease her pain. He wished she would reach out to him, knowing that he more than anyone else knew what it was like to lose a parent at such a young age. On the other hand, though, he also wanted to be there for Morgan and Pepper and Mr. Stark, when he finally woke up.
