part 1:The Outbreak

Ah shit,it's 1pm already!I was supposed to take Tommy to the park at 12,my parents asked me to since he passed his spelling test,i'll just take him now.

I walked out my room which was placed at the end of the hall and made my way to the middle door,Tommy's room,i knocked on but there was no reply.

"Tommy,you in there,c'mon bud,we'll go to the park now"

Still no reply?

I opened the blue painted door to answer my curiosity,his room was empty,maybe he's downstairs.

I closed the door and dragged myself down the stairs.

"TOMMY,YOU DOWN HERE?!"

Still no reply?

Maybe he's ignoring me for losing track of time,however in my defence i was studying for my own exam,difference is,i don't get a damn reward for passing.

I turned around the banister of the stairs to head to the living room,maybe he was watching Tv or somethin-

Why's the door open?!

"Tommy?"

Yet still no reply,jesus christ
that little shit.

I did a sweep of the house one more time before i went out the opened front door just to be sure,he wasn't here.I grabbed my keys and stepped outside making sure to lock the door.

I swear if he's gone to park on his own i'm gonna kill him,that's if my parents don't kill me first,i can already hear them lecturing me now.

"You are 15 years old and your brother is 10!you know he can't go out his own,were you even paying attention to what he was doing?!honestly,how could you be so irresponsible!"

I swear if they find out and i get blamed for this,i'm gonna riot my own house.

Walking down the road i notice some people going at it on the lawn of one of the houses,and no,not that kind of going at it,ya dirty flytraps.

They were really fighting,pretty sure one is trying to bite the other,whatever,i just need to find Tommy.

I made it to the park,and not to my surprise,there's Tommy,playing with Mrs Firhuds son on the slide.

"TOMMY!"

Did this motherfucker really just ignore me!?

I stormed my way over and grabbed him down,i kneeled down to his level.

"Tommy,what the hell were you thinking!?You know you're not allowed to go out on your own,it's dangerous!"

"Well,i wanted to go to the park but you didn't take me so i asked Mrs Firhuds instead,are you upset with me?"

"No Tommy,i'm not upset with you but you know you're not allowed to do this,especially with all these reports of attacks going on"

"I know,but i got bored and Mrs Firhuds agreed to take me when i asked"

"Fine,i'll let it slide this one time,but if mum and dad ask,tell them i took you okay?"

"Okay"

I grabbed his hand to take him home,just have to apologise to Mrs Firhuds first,however,whilst looking around there no sign of her at all?
