yellow monkey x dragon in a blue tshirt
angst - fluff

monke pov
i had just woke up in bed, looking around with my vision slightly blurry. i yawn and rub my eyes, adjusting to the morning sun then look to my side. wait- where's dragon? i thought, dragging myself out of bed and stretching my sleepy limbs. usually, dragon would be awake by me. it was quite strange.
i walk out, smoothening out the patch of hair on my head. walking into the living room, i see a large dragon, who's my fiancee, frantically running back and forth and also appeared panicked. i came over, "love, what's wrong?" my voice is soft in an attempt to comfort the dragon. the dragon stops, turning around and looking down at me, "just stressed."
dragons pov
my blue tshirt was wrinkled from the running i was doing, and monkey came forward to smoothen them, "what happened?" he looked up at me, yellow eyes looking worried. i narrow my eyes, a puff of smoke leaving my nostrils, "you're so nosy, monkey." i grumble, not thinking. he blinks, " why're you calling me nosy? you're the one who's mad over nothing!" he stepped away, crossing his arms.
"mad over nothing? you get offended easily," i snap back, glaring down at him and crossinh my arms as well. he looks me in the eyes, "fine, whatever." then turns around and walks off. i immediately feel guilty, scratching at my scaled arms but refrain from calling out to him.
2 hours later, same pov
monkey came back out of our room in what had been a while, and i pipe up in interest and hope. he comes over to me, scratching his neck as he looks at me apologetically, "erm, what're your pronouns for today, love?" he began, shifting from one foot to another. i chuckle, "feeling a bit crazy today, maybe... sei/zure?" i almost want to squish his face because of how adorable he looked.
"well, i wanted to apologize for earlier." i giggle. what a sappy one he is. "it's all forgiven, and i apologise for being rude." he nods, "'tis okay.." i pull him into my arms, feeling him rest his head into my t-shirt. i play with his ears, both of us in comfortable silence before i began, "did you have breakfast?" "no." "come, i'll make you some." i pick him up, and put him in my blue tshirt.
his head popped out, giggling about the free ride. i walk to the kitchen, taking out the ingredients needed to make a pancake, "oh my! you'll make me a pancake?" i nod, smiling in the most dragon way possible.
as i was putting vanilla powder, monkey crawls to the sleeve and snatches the bottle to which i groan at, "love, give me that." i hear snickering and laughing, rolling my eyes, " what's the magic word?"
"please give me the vanilla powder." i grumble, reaching into my tshirt and grabbing him by the scruff and dragging him out. he flails, complaining about how unfair the height difference is. i roll my eyes, taking the powder and putting him back before continuing.
after making pancake
"i love this! thankyou so much!" i smile, watching him practically inhale the pancake, "slow down, love, or you'll choke." i laugh, "you know what id rather choke on instead?" i blink, sighing, "what?" "your mom," i sigh for the umpteenth time this day.
"i love you, but go to hell."
"i love you too, dear."
