Walking down the city streets of Liyue felt amazing. The cold breeze that had passed on your face every minute or so, had calmed you down from what had just happened.
Before arriving to Liyue, you had encountered a some-what large group of hilichurlls. At the time, your legs had been very weak from traveling from Mondstat to Liyue, so you had most definitely been tired.
Seeing that you had came across such a large group of defensive creatures, had made you want to curl up into a ball and die.
Your legs almost failed you as you had finished the last hilichurl.
You then collapsed at a tree beside what used to be a hilichurl camp. Quickly, you had taken out a sunsetia from your rucksack and started taking bites out of it.
After finishing it, you ever so slowly got up from the comfortable spot, wishing you had just fell asleep there. But you knew you couldn't, who knows how many creatures there are out there?

With the rest of the strength you had, you had finally arrived at a type of hotel with the name of 'Wangshu Inn.'
You had walked up to the counter with half-lidded eyes, as they had soon to be widened at the sight of a beautiful woman standing in front of you.
Quickly, you had started speaking before the woman had, since you had been too tired to spike up a conversation.
'Maybe ill talk with her tomorrow morning' you thought to yourself before you spoke.
"Hi, could I get a room key please?" You said, sluring a few words. At this point she might have thought you had been drunk.
"Oh yeah for sure! How long will you be staying?" She gave a bright smile which made you wonder how energetic she could be at such a late hour.
"I would say a week? I'll most likely stay longer since I am traveling, but I'll see." You smiled a soft smile before taking the key from the girls hand.
"Enjoy your stay!" She said softly before you had reached your room in a matter of seconds.
Opening the door and falling on the soft silky sheets felt like a dream. The white colored sheets reminded you of the vibrant snow you would find in Dragonspine.
You had rushed off your clothes as you would then change and slip yourself under the covers. You felt like you were on Cloud 9.
Your eyes had quickly shut down, as so had the rest of your body.

You woke up to the sounds of birds chirping from a distance.
You stood up from your bed as sadness overcame you. That was one of the most peaceful, and calming sleeps you've had in a while.
You had quickly dressed up into your usual everyday clothes (traveller's clothes or something) before reaching the front counter of the Inn where you had seen the beautiful lady.
You had sparked up a conversation with the female. She had actually been a very interesting person. You had learned her name was Verr Goldet. She was a very strong and busy woman, as she was also the boss of Wangshuu Inn.
You had recently been running low on mora, so you had asked if you could do any commissions for the woman.
"Hey, do you think I could do some commissions for you?" You asked, taping your fingers with rythm on the wooden counter.
Her eyes widened at the sudden interrogation "Oh? Well.. if you could do some stuff around the Inn, I would for sure give you the job! I'll also make sure to reward you well."
You smiled before listening to the list of things she had required for you to do. Your first task was to send a plate of almond tofu to the highest floor of the balcony.
'What a strange request..'
"If you head into the kitchen, you'll find one of my co-worker's, Smiley Yanxiao. He's the chef here. Ask him to make you a plate of almond tofu please? Tell him the boss sent you"
"Sure!" You smiled with confussion as to why you were bringing up a plate of almond tofu to the balcony.
You didn't ask why, or asked for Verr to specify why exactly you would be doing this, but because of the nice person you are, you gladly went and trotted to the kitchen.

"Who are you?" A low voice grumbled as you entered the kitchen.
There was a tall, muscular man, with a sharp pointy haircut.
"Could you make a plate of almond tofu for me? Please." You grinned at the man, hands behind your back as you completely ignored his question.
"And what makes you think I should?" He demanded in a mean manor, crossing his arms across his chest.
"Orders from the boss" you quickly said, almost interrupting the man.
His eyes widened at the words that had just came out of your mouth.
"W-well if its for the boss.. come here." He said as he gestured with his head, slowly heading towards the arrangement of ingredients.
It took at least 30 minutes for you to learn how to make an actual decent looking and tasting piece of tofu. You were proud of yourself, and so was Yanxiao.
He was surprised by the fact that you had learned such a difficult recipe in such a short amount of time.
You had been covered in flour and other substances, but you didn't care. The only thing that was on your mind was what would happen once you reached the balcony.
Before reaching the stairs, a familiar voice had called out to you. It was Verr.
"Wait Y/N! I forgot to tell you who your meeting! There's an adeptus at the top of the staircase..." she cut off as she took deep breathes in between each sentence. Why had she been running after you?
She continued her sentence after catching her breath. "His name is xiao. If you call out his name, he might just come out to you. You must then offer him the almond tofu. Be careful though! He's a cold one."
You were surprised. You have heard about the adeptus in Liyue but you didn't expect him to be here of all places.
Although you were nervous, you were also excited. You had never met such a powerful being before, and knowing that his was your first time, had made you very worried.
"Thanks Verr." You said giving the poor woman a worrisome glance before asking if she needed help.
She declined before returning to her desk.
You hurrily rushed up to the balcony to soon encounter the very top.
You reached the top, with tired legs. You then took a big breath with the remaining air you had and called out his name.
"Xiao?"
