Azalea Dean has gone to St. Augustine every summer since seventh grade. Patrick Asel's summer home has come in handy for her and her ever growing crowd of friends as the years went by. The summer before her senior year, Azalea prepares for a relaxing, sunny three months to frolic at the beach, no different than any other summer. However, as soon as she gets there, Azalea develops a new goal for the trip: Crack open the shell that is the sarcastic, blushing, self-effacing (and drop-dead gorgeous), Brandy Lovett.
