val woke up on the couch, some how she had ended up next to chris. she wasnt totally complaining but she knew it was wrong. she got up picked up her earring from the table. she saw the matching one next to hers and decided to ignore the sinking feeling in her stomach.
why did it have to make her feel like that?
she walked into the kitchen, getting out her favorite cereal. which was cocoa pebbles. obviously. she walked to the fridge to pull out the milk. she thought about taylor swifts song, all too well.
she wanted someone to dance in the refrigerator light with. would she very actually admit to herself? absolutely....not.
of course, the last time she was in a relationship, she got completely heart broken. their last conversation had been the piece of her she left in boston when she left for new york. and just like that. everything came back in a flash.
FLASHBACK
"what the fuck valentina!?" chris yelled.
"chris please," val said.
