My Opinion On No Way Home (spiolers)

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I FINALLY watched No Way Home after about 4 months since its release and here are my thoughts.

I absolutely loved it!

But, I was expecting something better.

Things I didn't like:

1. All of the major scenes were in the trailer, so there wasn't really any surprises.

2. The scene where MJ falls is barely 10 seconds long, and it isn't tense at all. She falls, but then Andrew's spider-man catches her immediately. There is no suspenseful slow motion. You don't get a good look at Tom's Peter being scared that MJ is falling off of the Statue of Liberty.

3. It was too quiet. Like there was no background soundtrack. I don't really notice when there is music in movies (unless its really epic) but I did notice that there wasn't much in this movie. And it really needed it.

4. In the 3rd act epic battle scene, it wasn't as epic as I had hoped. It felt like 5 minutes to be honest. And they didn't get beaten up real bad, or struggle, or ANYTHING. They just grabbed the antidote, dodged a few punches, and fixed the bad guys.

5. There was no new bad guys. I know that they bought in 5 bad guys, but I wanted to see someone else, like Kraven the Hunter or something.

6. Ned's magic is just kinda there. Like its no big deal. And we don't really get to appreciate it.

7. Tobey and Andrew's entrance. Like, oh they just appeared. No big deal. No epic music, no grand entrance, just, there. WHY?

8. It didn't feel like an epic Marvel movie. It just wasn't. It didn't FEEL like it. (I watched it at home, there was probs way more hype at the theatres)

9. It didn't feel like I watched a whole movie. It felt like 10 minutes long. Like the whole summary was basically the trailer.

10. I WASN'T SATISFIED. I left feeling like there was more that I missed out on. It just didn't feel like a substantial movie.

What I liked:

1. Matt Murdock cameo. I jumped off of the couch and ran down the hall screaming. THAT was epic.

2. TOBEY AND ANDREW!!! Like, OMG. It was amazing having them in the movie.

3. All 3 Peters in a lab curing bad guys. I LOVED THAT BIT!!!

4. Tobey, Andrew and Tom all being Spider-man together just felt so natural. It was like they were all brothers. It was so heartwarming.

5. wItH gReAt PoWeR cOmEs GrEaT rEsPoNsIbILItY. When Aunt May said that, me and my friends were all screaming and it was great.

6. The fact that they all understand each other, and that they can give advice and help Tom's Peter not make those same mistakes.

7. Peter and MJ. That was great.

8. The ending. I feel like that was a suitable ending to the movie. I liked the ending.

So my overall opinion:

It was a good movie.

Didn't deserve THAT much hype.

Fave Tom Spider-man movie.

I liked TASM more.

I would watch it again.

This is just my opinion. Its ok if y'all have different opinions. And the movie did get interrupted a bit. My friend paused it when May died, and it ruined that scene. And my friends mum kept telling us to eat our dinner in the quiet bits so that ruined it too.

Anyways, I hope you liked that.

Bye

-MJ
