The Separate Expectations [ALLS: #1] (UNDER REDO!)

As I arrive at my office an unexpected person has been seating on the couch, how I wonder what is she doing here I have lived my life at peace and now. My peace has disappeared again.

"What are you doing here?" I said to her but no respond, She just fixed the way she sat and fixed her clothing. My eyebrow raised and my arms now folded.

"Do you really want to know Maxine?" She said as she stood and walked towards me. How can this woman just show up in my life again like nothing had happened in our past.

I looked at her blankly and raised an eyebrow indicating that I do want to know what is she doing here. She then stands Infront of me and hugs me.

"I'm here because I want you again Max... I want you back.." She said as she almost melts so I supported her and I unintentionally hugged her.

"Athena, What we had before is already the past and we can't have that again. The things we wanted would've happened if we weren't shitty and the fact that I was your student back then." I said and I guided her to sit down on the couch.

I felt a drop of wet somethingon my arms and I noticed it was her tears, I didn't expect her to cry. Not even in front of me.

"W...Why can't we just go back to what we once had Max?" She asked trying not to stutter through her words, Alam kong nasasaktan s'ya but I didn't know it would take her up to now.

"Athena, alam mo naman na eh. We couldn't be together because I want you to keep your job." I said to her, as I felt her hands I knew she wanted to ask more but she just couldn't let it all out.

"Im not your professor now Max! Ano ba? I want you too! So bad that without you I feel like my life is falling apart, So Zainiel bumalik ka na sa amin."

I wanted to say I want her back too, I just can't. Masakit pa, Sobrang sakit pa.

"Athena, I still and will always love you and I know you know that." Sabi ko sakanya, mahigpit parin ang kanyang kamay sa akin.

"Then why can't us happen again?" Nasasaktan na ako sa pag pisil ng kanyan kamay sa kamay ko pero kakayanin ko parin 'to.

"It's because we have our own world now Athena, we have iur own Separate Expectations. We can't force something that what once happened, I didn't want to let you go pero it was for our own goo–" I didn't get to finish my own sentence when she interrupted me.

"Fuck that Zainiel! Don't bullshit me into believing that leaving our relationship was for the better us! Because that shit made me insane to the bone." She couldn't handle it anymore and her tears came dripping down her face.

Thats when I noticed everything about her, A lot has change since then. Her eyes her damn precious eyes still glistens when she looks at me and Her eyebrows that are so wonderful. Everything about her makes me fall more deeper in-love with her.

"Alam kong masakit na Athena but we just cant be together." I said holding back tears.

"Does knowing me more means it's easier to let me go?" She said to me. I look deep into her eyesand I saw nothing but her wanting to answers.

"Athena, It's not that your easy to let go. Knowing you deeper means I fall more deeper, It's just this isn't the lifetime for us. We're already too hurt that we're supposed to be." I said and I felt my eyes tear up.

"Masakit mang isipin na 'di tayo pwede, there's so many things na nag bago sa atin." I continued.

"Then come back, Come back to me. Ligawan mo ako ulit, kilalanin mo ako ulit, know what my hates and favorites, maybe know my favorite shows a lot has happened to me and I want you to know everything that's new to me. And I want a life with you again." I can hear the hurt on her voice, I couldn't help but to go to my door and lock it.

"I hope we won't regret this in the end Athena." After I finished that sentence I grabbed her and kissed her.

Gosh how I missed these lips of hers, I am more than happy to have her this close to me again. How I wish this would last forever.

Until then, I hope she wint leave again.
