"you look pretty," corbyn complemented his girlfriend as she got into his car. lilian smiled at her boyfriend as he started to drive to their date spot.

"so, where are we going?" lilian asked corbyn.

"it's a surprise." corbyn slightly smirked, thinking he was slick with his answer.

"why not just tell me?" lilian rested her elbows on the center console and looked at corbyn, who's eyes were fixed on the road.

"because that'll ruin the surprise, and you know how much i love making surprises for you."

"you're really good at being annoying."

"i know, but you love it," corbyn side-eyed lilian who was fake pouting then looked back to the road, "okay, one thing i can tell you is that it involves some of your favorite things."

lilian smiled, "i'm just glad you're not sick anymore."

"oh is that so?"

"it is very much so." the brunette girl pushed herself up to kiss her boyfriends cheek.

the rest of the car ride consisted of hand holding and outrageous singing.

・ 。゚☆: *.☽ . * :☆゚.

"here we are." corbyn said about 15 minutes later after the couples jam session. lilian looked up from her phone to see the car parked in front of a picnic that corbyn had set up before picking her up. the sun was just setting so, in lilian's eyes, it was absolutely perfect.

"woah." was all lilian managed to get out of her mouth. corbyn laughed slightly and got out of the car, then going around to lilian's side to open the door for her.

"it's just perfect," corbyn smiled at her while they sat down on the whiteish, grayish blanket that was laid down on the ground. chick-fil-a bags along with two drinks was also on the blanket, "i'm serious c, you really didn't have to do all this."

"yeah well, i wanted to."

"you're too good for this world besson." lilian smiled at corbyn and locked eyes with him.

eye contact. one of the things most people cannot resist. for corbyn, it was one of his favorite things ever. the way lilian looked him in the eyes and how they sparkled whenever she was excited about something. with every passing day, he fell more and more in love with her. no matter the situation, no matter how tuff life got, he would always look at her and he was home. she was his safe place. his shoulder to cry on. his everything.
