Hi precious Kikwis! How have y'all been today? I had a good day. I hope you did too.
The image above is the view from the sanctuary we talked about in the last chapter! I will be revealing the location at the end.
I've got some book title ideas in the making and I'm excited to actually label this book lol.
Anyway, ON TO THE STORRRY~!Word count: 2328

'Here I thought I was going to have a semi-peaceful night... oh, how wrong I was. I knew letting my anger get the best of me would bite me in the ass.'
The sirens of the Bokoblin sentries kept blaring in my ears at every turn. Smoke filled my lungs, but that is of no consequence or concern to me. 'I have to get them out. I have to save them...'
I can hear the Bokoblins' screaming, and I rush through every hall and room helping them to escape. Until, I come upon the last rooms, the study and my bedroom. I run into my bedroom to get my enchanted bag that is bigger on the inside, and then I run into the study to retrieve all of the books and scrolls with all of my work. After that is completed, I start running back through the now silently crackling and burning sanctuary. 'Our safe haven, our home is burning because of my careless mistake...'
As I make it to the burning entrance I'm greeted with the scent of a mix of a certain type of blood. 'No! NO! NO!' I rush out to the sight of my slaughtered family, and I collapse and let the raging darkness take over me...
*BLACKOUT*
'Screaming.'
I stand next to my father as he explains the plan of attack. Accross from me, his second in command.
"We will be meeting them in the open field.. here." My father points to a location near the center of the map.
"If we meet them head on we will be guaranteed a loss" the Second points out the disadvantage of the area, and frankly I agree.
"We will not be going without a surprise ,obviously. I will need two other forces here and here." Father points to two locations that will ensure the enemies are surrounded, and will be attacked not just head on but from the sides too. So, the enemy will be forced to run to their precious 'Temple of Time' to try and escape us. However, they will be unable if we continue our advance toward them. There will be no escape. A perfect plan.
I smile. "Wonderful thinking father! As always, I'm glad to be able to learn from you, and help in this!" I say excitedly.
"Leave us." My father says abruptly. I'm shocked and I thought he was referring to me, but the Second nodded and teleported away in a flurry of diamonds.
"Father?" I say worried.
"It is unfortunate that I must ask this, but if for any reason I should fail tomorrow, I need you to do something for me..." he says solemnly.
"What? What is it?" I ask growing increasingly with fear.
"I need you to take your troops and flee. As fast and as far away as you can. The fastest way to the underground is through the Cistern. Hide there for a few years and re-emerge to the surface when it is safe, my daughter." He says almost sorrowful.
