|Chapter 13|

When we were done with the picnic we took all of our things and made our way towards the car again. We put everything in the trunk and sat in the car.

We were moving back towards my biological family's house. Xan was driving and I was looking through the window at the stars in the sky.

"I have another surprise for you before I drop you off." I looked at him questionable but he only looked at the road ahead.

I noticed his lips curl up into a smile while mine did the same. I turned my attention back to the stars in the sky while we drove through the city.

When we were back in the city he stopped in front of the main house of the Russians

When I got out he took my hand in his and led me up the stairs to the door.

When we got in he let go of my hand and stood in front of me.

"Close your eyes" I did as I was told. I felt him take my hand in his and lead me towards the kitchen.

When we stopped in the kitchen he told me to open my eyes, and I did. In front of me on the kitchen counter were bags of gifts.

I looked at him and he was smiling down at me. I hugged him and he hugged me back.

"Thank you." I said as we broke apart.

"You deserve it. Now go and open them." I smiled and hugged him before going towards the gifts and opening them one by one.

I couldn't belive what he got me. It was every thing that I mentioned I like and wanted to buy to myself. He paid attention to details.
