~Darryl's POV~
I slouch my soaking wet backpack agents my soaking wet back. Five minutes after school ended, it started to down right pour. My walk back to my little rented house was 15 minutes away, so I still had ten minutes to go.
I was worried, because it was thunder. And that means that Rat (AKA Lucy) was freaking out at this very moment. I sigh and pull out my phone but quickly put it back as the thick drops of rain splashed on it.
"Hey, wheres your umbrella?" A voice asked me from behind. I spun around to see Georges face staring back. "I-I didn't know it would rain.." I mumble under my breath. George responds with,
"Well, why don't you ask your boyfriend to help you~?"
I look at him, confused. The only boyfriend I HAD was Cia. George can see that I was confused and added with a smirk, "Ya know, Skeppy!" I was still confused. George sighs and says, "Zak." I jump back.
"ZAK!? First off, NO WAY! I'm not gay! And second, I just met him!!" I exclaim. I didn't want the word to spread and everyone to call me a 'gay freak' like my last school. George starts laughing really hard. And I mean, REALLY hard. He starts to stutter on a few words, but manages to choke out,
"Yeah...Right!" I stare at him with a blank expression as I was getting soaked and he was dry as a crispy muffin. I shake my head and say, "Mkay, whatever potato head. Have fun with Clay~!" I remark as I walk away.
I turn for a second to see George had stopped laughing and was now furiously red.
Just what I thought.
I look at my watch after a few more minutes of walking and see that I only walked for six more minutes. I close my eyes and think... *BAM* Owwwwwwww.... "Hey! What the fuck do you think your doi- oh.. hey Darryl." I hear a familiar voice sigh. It was Zak I bumped into. I rub my head and groan.
"Hey Zak... language..." I groan as my butt is drenching due to the wet concrete. Zak giggled a cute tiny giggle and asked me,
"Are you free this weekend..?"
