(side story) Hazel's Birthday surprise

Today was Hazel's birthday and Hazel was super excited to be 14 she was feeling like a real teenager now. She got up to look at her emo self in the mirror and started playing teenagers by My Chemical Romance. Her mom walked into her room and hugged her wishing her a happy birthday not even noticing the song playing because Hazel listens to the song all the time, it was her favorite song. 

Today she was supposed to go to the park with her friends so they could have a picnic party for her but her friends all dipped at the last minute. Y/N was going out with Ed, Ella was bejeweling her pet turtle because he wanted to be sparkly and glitzy. Alex was busy braiding her horses hair and dying some of it purple because her horse was going through an indie phase. Hazel wanted to cry when she got the text from all three of her friends she couldn't believe of all days they could have backed out of plans they chose today. 

Hazel ran away from the park and back to her house and right up into her room she hadn't even bothered to pick up the picnic basket but she didn't care. All Hazel did for 15 minutes was cry, she cried and cried her black emo eyeliner smeared all down her face. She was starting to calm down when she got a text from her bf Johnny Depp. He texted her that he was outside and she should come down she told him to give her 10 mins. 

                                                                                            *10 minutes later*

Hazel made herself look put together for Johnny she didn't want him to see her cry and so she fixed her makeup pulled up her hair and changed into something "presentable". Johnny handed her the picnic basket and blanket and said "I think this is yours". She had a smile on her face but in reality was about to cry. Johnny looked at her and told her not to cry and she smiled and said she'd try. Johnny then suggested that they should go on a picnic together later on. She told him it sounded like a great idea. So they planned to meet at the park for a late picnic. They settled on 7:30. So she went back in the house since it was only 3 and waited a bit before she got ready for the picnic.

7:30 came quick Hazel was barely done getting ready by 7:15 and had to run out the door she barely made it to the park on time but she did. Her eyes where then covered and she was lead to the spot of the picnic. When the hands were removed from over her eyes she saw all her friends waiting for her. They had planned a whole party just for her. They had so much fun together they all ate food, laughed, danced, and finally spent sometime just enjoying each others company Johnny asked her if she enjoyed her birthday to which she just said yea because she was to cool for long sentences.
