(Authors Note) Dedicated to my friend @connect4directioner, she helped me come up with this chapter!
I woke up on a couch in this huge house. I freaked out for a second not knowing where I was, then remembered that Sarah and I spent the night at Louis house. And then, I remembered I forgot to tell Aunt Clara. I was dead. She was probably giving the police my most recent picture right now. I immediately got my phone out and texted her.
to: Auntie Clara <3 :
clara i am soooo sorry i didnt tell you but i spent the night at my friend's house!
She texted back a couple minutes later.
to: Amber :
its fine dont worry about it sarah texted me last night! :)
This is what I love about Clara. She is so forgiving if I forget something. And I would definitely have to thank Sarah later for remembering to text Clara. I got up and went into the kitchen. I was the first one up, so I decided to make breakfast. I grabbed some pancake mix and staring making my famous pancakes that everyone loved back at home.
"Do I smell food?!?!" Niall shouted as he ran in the kitchen. Everyone was right. That boy loved his food.
"Yup, I'm making my famous pancakes! Everyone back home loves them" I said.
"YES!" he screamed, then ran out the door. "Boys, get down here NOW! Amber's making pancakes!!"
After we had all eaten our pancakes (everyone here loved them just as much as everyone back home) Sarah and I were getting ready to go home.
"Amber, you are coming over here a lot more so you can make us pancakes!" Harry said after he finished eating.
I laughed. "Fine! But just wait until you try my omelets. Not to brag, but they're pretty amazing!" I picked up my purse and Sarah and I started to walk out the door. I felt a hand wrap around my wrist. I looked back to see Louis.
"Hey, me and the guys were about to go to the pet store! Wanna come?" he asked.
"I don't know, I should probably get home..." I started. I looked over to Sarah and I could tell she really wanted to go. "... but then again, YOLO!" Everyone was excited. I remembered to text Clara and tell her I would be late. We walked to the pet store and went in. I noticed a 'Help Wanted' sign on the door. Maybe I could kill two birds with one stone here. Harry immediately ran over to the cats. Liam immediately ran over to the puppies. I had no idea where to begin. "Are you actually getting something?" I asked Louis.
"I don't know, maybe if we find the right pet! You never know with these guys" he said.
I walked over to the manager to ask about a job. She gave me an application and told me to be back tomorrow morning for an interview. I walked around for a while, then I saw the cutest animal I have ever seen in my life. I ran over and read the sign. It was a sugar glider, whatever that is. Well, whatever is is, it was cute. "Louis!! Get over here now!" I screamed.
What is it? Are you okay? What's wro- What is that?!" He said stopping in mid sentence seeing the sugar glider on my shoulder.
"It's a sugar glider!" I giggled. Wait, what? I never giggled around people. "Isn't it cute?"
"Girl, it is FABULOUS!" he said in a girl voice.
"I think you should get it!" I exclaimed.
"I think so too!!" he replied. "Lets go tell the boys and Sarah!" We walked over to the boys and saw that Harry and Niall had a kitten, Liam and Sarah had a puppy, and Zayn was wandering somewhere around the store. This would be interesting. After 10 minutes of arguing which pet we should get, we were nowhere. Liam and Sarah said that dogs were man's best friend, Harry and Niall said cats were easy to take care of, and Louis and I, well, said that the sugar glider was cute. That's honestly all we had. We reached an agreement after another 5 minutes. The puppy would stay with Liam, the cat with Harry, and the sugar glider with Louis. Everyone was happy. Harry high-fived Niall, and Liam hugged Sarah. She mouthed to me "I have something to tell you." Zayn finally showed up just as we were about to leave.
