The young minds of the youth are like blossoming buds. If taken care of with love and nurtured with beauty, then they'll bear the best blessing ever. Else, they'll wither and rot and simply...die.
______________________________________As the night sky arrives, so does Selene in all her shining glory. She is the one in whom Rodger can always confine his thoughts and feelings into. He can trust her, for he knows that she wouldn't spill what's his to anybody else.
As he sits by his window, talking to her, Rodger feels a sense of serenity upon himself. The Moon really is a great companion when one wants to confide, confess or just share their thoughts and heart out. For the Moon doesn't speak, doesn't judge. She just listens, with no questions involved.
"My love is different...we aren't like the others in a literal sense. When I'm with this person, I feel so jovial, so delighted that no words in the Universe could describe it. It's a feeling so pure, so beautiful and so rare.
Every part of my love is something I cherish. The soft caresses, the untangling of that beautiful silk-like hair, those green eyes, those red lips...all of it is something I adore. Oh Lord, that laugh, that giggle...it's something I fall more for every single day. Every single day I'm given new reasons to fall more in love.
And these are just the physical aspects. What I cherish the most is the heart. I can't believe that I found such an Angel in the form of a human. The kind, gentle heart, the way with the children, all of it...it's so rare to find in today's world. So rare and yet so enticing.
I always read about love in books, but experiencing it is a whole different space. The rarity of the description is honestly stupefying. I'm in an honest state of questioning the sanity of the people who described love in all those books. For never did they describe it to it's true potential.
Never did they describe the beautifying perspective one gets when in love. Never did they describe the colorful and brightness of the world. Never did they express the beautiful, unspoken messages of your love which the wind carries for you.
Oh Dear Moon, is this only temporary or is this feeling permanent? For if it's temporary, then I would pray for the time to be the most cherished, most blessed. The joy is so unmatched to any other, the peace is so rare. It's such a sweet relief to be in love, for it helps escape the harsh of the life.
These moments of love are just like silk, and this love in itself is so...prodigious. A faceless and yet such deep emotion is felt in love. I only fright of loosing it, and although I pray to not, I can only hope to not be deprived of this feeling."
As he listens to his son speak, Mark Seddington cannot help but feel pride and overflowing joy fill him. His son indeed has grown up to be a fine man. Judging solely by the words, he can discern with a certainty that his son will keep his lass and will wed her and wife her.
Satisfied with the arrival at a sanguine conclusion, Mark decides to take his leave and give his lad some privacy. As he walks away with a smile, he fails to hear the last bit part of Rodger's confessions with the Moon. The part which would sure bring the smile down to a frown and the joy and pride into rage.
He's my everything and I really love my Harold.
Upon supper time, as Rodger descends the stairs, he overhears his parents converse. Although he doesn't want to, he listens to them, for the topic of conversation is him. The more he listens, hiding in the depths of the shadows, the more his fright grows.
