Chapter 5 - An Unexpected Business Meeting

  Alex and Anthony took the elevator to the conference room for their business meeting. Alex feels both nervous and eager. Alex is notorious for being nervous anytime anything new arises, but this time he managed to keep his nerves under control. Back at the café, Alex was nervous about the business meeting, but after meeting Andrea, he felt confident in presenting his father's legacy to Mr. Rufina and his partners.

  "Hey Alex, ayos kalang?" Anthony asked. "Oo pre ayos lang ako, kaya ko to wag ka mag alala," Alex replied to Anthony with confidence. After they arrived on the 4th floor of the hotel, they went into the conference room reserved for the business meeting.

  As soon as they went into the conference, he immediately saw Andrea. Alex doesn't know that Andrea is Mr. Rufina's assistant. As soon as she saw Andrea, Andrea immediately noticed Alex walking inside the conference room. Alex patted Anthony in his back and said; "Pre siya yung tinulungan ko sa cafe kanina, kaya ako natagalan," to which Anthony replied, "Kaya pala ang tagal mo kanina." She looks gorgeous huh".

   Andrea whispered to Angeline and said; "Geline, ayan yung lalaki na tinulungan ako kanina nung dumulas ako sa cafe," Angeline responded; "Ayan?" "Sure ka?" "OO Bakit sino bayan?" "Si Sir Hidalgo yan, yung owner ng company na imemeet natin ngayon." Andrea was shocked because she didn't know that the guy helping her was Mr. Rufina's business partner.

  Every one was settled and accounted for. It was time to start the business meeting. Before they started, they first introduced their companies. When it was Alex's turn to present, Andrea was watching him as he explained and showed their statistics. Andrea was stunned at how good looking Alex was.

  Andrea was astounded to learn that she was Mr. Hidalgo, the richest businessman in the industry. On the other hand, when Angeline learned, she was overjoyed. Angeline was hushed by Andrea. "Geline, ang bait niya pala. Akala ko masungit siya na suplado pero hindi pala" "Ako nga din eh, sana ako nalang inutusan ni Sir Rufina na bumili ng kape". Even as the meeting was still going on, they both secretly laughed. Because Mr. Rufina was so eager to invest in Mr. Hidalgo's company, it nearly lasted two hours.

The two-hour meeting was finally over. The business presentation caught Mr. Rufina off by surprise, but he enjoyed it and decided to support Mr. Hidalgo's venture. When Mr. Rufina agreed to his business plan, Alex, Anthony, and his business team were absolutely thrilled.

   Geline and Andrea headed downstairs to eat lunch after the meeting. They had to wait for a few minutes because the elevator was already at capacity when they tried to use it. They boarded the elevator a little while later. There was a man who abruptly stopped the elevator; "Uy wait lang!", Alex exclaimed. 

   Andrea was taken aback when she ran across Alex once more. When they first saw one another, they were both taken aback. On the other hand, Anthony returned Angeline's smile. Andrea was trying to hide her smile because she was so close to Alex during the uneasy stillness that surrounded the elevator. 

   They both exchanged smiles after glancing at one another. Because it all began with them passing glances at one another, that was the most significant moment of their lives. They reached the ground floor of the hotel, and went to the cafeteria to eat lunch. While Alex went simply to get coffee, Andrea and Angeline continued on to find some food to eat. Anthony asked Alex; "Di ka kakain pre?", Alex replied "Busog pako e, magkakape nalang muna ako"

   Alex runs into Andrea once more as he passes by to grab some coffee. As they walked to fetch coffee, they both grinned. In jest, Alex said; "Ikaw ulit? Stalker ka no?", Andrea shockingly replied "Hala sir hindi po ah hahahaha", "Hahahahah I'm just kidding". As Andrea got the coffee Alex was surprised; "You also like black coffee na madaming madaming creamer?", Alex said to Andrea. Andrea replied "Oo, fave ko po kasi eh, lalo na pag nag ccrave ako sa coffee sir". 

   "Loose the 'Po', Andrea? Tama ba?" "Yes, tama ka hahaha". As they struggled to speak, they both laughed.
