Alex's Pov:
It was around 4:15 the next day and I was due to meet penny in 15 minutes. It was perfect timing for me to walk so I grabbed my guitar and headed for the woods.

Penny's Pov:
I had decided to come to the woods earlier and meet Alex when he gets here. I hate being late and although it seems extreme for the first time we are ever going to meet up alone I want some time to think about what's going to happen.
Are we going to get together? Are we going to go any further than friends? I doubt it, but somewhere in the back of my mind I seriously hope so.

About 15 minutes later Alex appears from behind the trees. He looked perfect. His scuffy hair was ruffled and shaped to the side and his beautiful eyes seemed to be fixed on me. I was very flattered as he blushed and said hello to me.

"So Alex" I said as he listened intently to me.
"What sort of things are you into?" I asked him softly not wanting to make him feel more nervous than he already looked. He replied.

"Well I like my band of course, the Beatles, the cribs, the stro-" I interrupted him quite abrupt.
"YOU LIKE THE STROKES?!" I asked exclaimed quite loudly making him him jump back a little.

"Sorry about that, I just really like them. I also like the cribs, and Palma violets. Stuff like that y'know"

"Don't be sorry, I'm like that with my favorite artists too." He said it in a pretty little voice which made me smile quite big. I think he noticed.

"I'm also a fan of the arctic monkeys...a very big fan, I see you brought your guitar?" I asked him, obviously hinting I wanted to hear some more of their songs.

"Oh ye, ye I did. You wanna hear something?" He asked me and I nodded my head very contently.

"Okay then, this is the bakery"
He started playing his instrument, and I am in heaven.

I wish you would have smiled in the bakery
Or sat on a tatty settee
At some mutual friend's gathering
And the more you keep on looking the more it's hard to take
Love, we're in stalemate
To never meet it surely where we're bound
There's one in every town
Just there to grind you down

I wish I would have seen you in the post office
Well maybe I did and I missed it
Too busy with a mind on clever lines
Why not the rounder's pitch or the canteen?
You're slacking love where have you been?
Just had to go and wait until tonight

I wish I would have seen you down in the arcade
Sipping on a lemonade
In the paper cup and chewing on the straw
And I wish I'd seen you in the bakery
But if I'd seen you in the bakery
You probably wouldn't of seen me.

He finished his song and he noticed I hadn't taken my eyes off of him. Maybe something was going to happen between us? Maybe we could be a thing? Maybe.
It was getting dark and I had to walk home so I told him with the saddest tone that I've got to go. His face looked heartbroken but he knew and I know that it wouldn't be the last time be saw eachother. We stood up from the log we were sitting on and he looked at me. I looked down at him and he planted a little kiss on my lips. I felt the electricity fall through my body and it wanted more. But you know, there's time.

"wow thank you." I said and he blushed very hard.

"Your very welcome, hopefully it won't be the last time" he says as he rocks back and fourth on his heels. And as he did that, I walked away, glancing him one last look before heading into the woods.

I haven't told said a lot about myself, my full name is Penny Butler and I'm 15. I'm in my last year of high school and live with my mum. My dad died when I was younger so there's not much to say about that. And I have no other siblings. Oh, and maybe I'm falling for Alex.
