The Beginning of the End

As he leaves the room she sobs. When she hears his bedroom door upstairs, she knows the time is now. She opens her drawer, and digs around till she finds the small steel blade she hid. She writes a goodbye letter to her parents. She takes her final steps through the house. She finds her way, in a daze, all the way outside. The rain begins to fall on her naked, black and blue body, mixing with the tears. Lost in the pain the river of blood starts to flow from her wrists. She looks down at the crimson stain blade, to see the milky pools of blood and rain around her. She feels her life slowly slipping away. It's would be the last time, the last time the pain fell from her.

What caused her to hurt so much; what drove her to this madness is now her destruction. All she knows is the end is near. With each stroke she cuts deeper and deeper. She stops feeling all together and falls to the ground. She lays there letting the rain wash her away. "No one will care. The world will be better off. As her heart slows, she begins to fade under the clod, dark, peaceful spell Death has placed upon her. She hears his voice in the distance call her name, but it's too late. He tried to save her with the small ounce of goodness in his hart; but he life was flushed away with he pain in the mirkeu puddle of tears, blood, and rain.
