Yesterday, it all happened yesterday. The words still circling my brain from then but I discarded the thoughts as newer ones crawled in; I had woken up ill somehow? I don't remember why I don't know how but I felt more tired when I awoke and felt unwell. Maybe a cold? Maybe I woke up with a cold? It's possible, that, or something else I might've caught.

Paxe had noticed how off I was today, she gently frowned "Joia, are you feeling okay? You look ill." I nodded, trying to reassure her. Paxe hid how she was worried with a nod and a smile towards the other, slowly sitting up in the bed as she went to get dressed to make the other some soup to help.

When she left, I stayed awake for a while more before I fell back asleep. I awoke to Paxe shaking me, her seeing me finally awake again she breathed a sigh of relief "Are you okay? It took me a longer time than usual to wake you." I gave her a puzzled expression. How long did I sleep during this time? I looked at the curtains, it seemed noonish from the shadow caused on the curtains.

I looked back at her and nodded, I felt a little more refreshed as I got out of bed to get dressed, Paxe was the one with the puzzled expression now "Okay, stellina.." She left the room so I could change but while changing, I noticed a small yellow glow showing through my sleeve as I held the shirt, I then saw little yellow... vines?? I dropped the shirt and looked at my hands, confused.

"Cara mia, could you come here for a second?" I called for Paxe, she came in smiling a bit, she always loves it when I talked to her in her home language before responding with a "Yes? What's wrong?" I picked up the shirt, it didn't glow with the yellow nor did thorns appear like before "Umm.. Never mind, everything is alright." I just chose a different shirt to wear as it was just.. weird..

I left the room and sat on the couch, I had zoned out as the image of what happened a second ago imprinted in my brain before I realized I saw the yellow glow once more sliding out from underneath the leg holes of my pants as I yelped from being startled "Stellina?? Are you okay??" Paxe walked over "Can't you see the vines??" She pointed to the floor as the vines just clumped into a bunch by my feet, I was pointing at them.

"I'm... Sorry, I can't see the vines? I just see your feet. Maybe we should call your padre to ask him?" "Probably.. He might be busy today though, I'll call him sometime this week." She nodded and looked at me.

I was just confused.. I don't know what this thing is and all I could do is stare at the clump by my feet before I saw it moving once more. The yellow vine crept up my pants and shirt and crawled on my arms, I just stayed silent before the vines formed a circle on my forearm.

It was empty in the middle but then it slowly blurred from my skin tone to what looked like me, Paxe, and some young girl.. Something more was going to happen but I was so confused I just moved my arms down quickly as it all went back to normal.

I muttered something under my breath that couldn't be heard before speaking up"I'm going to the store, do we need anything?.." "I can just come with you after I make the list."

I stood up and smiled, shaking my head "No, it's alright! If you can just make the list, I'll get everything. Don't worry." Paxe nodded, making the list as she gave it to me. I gently grabbed it and left the apartment, grabbing my set of keys before leaving.

As I was walking through the store, it felt off.. As I grabbed items, eventually someone bumped into my shoulder making me drop the can on the ground, I looked over at the girl, she looked weird in a way.. I paid no mind as I picked the can up while she apologized before walking away.

I just resumed, ignoring the strangeness of how familiar she had looked, I kept my guard up for the rest of the time. When I was done and went to pay, a similar girl was following me but I ignored it too quickly just pay and leave.

I still felt watched so I abruptly stopped on the path making the other bump into me, I turn around and faced her. It was a short woman, looked maybe 5 foot? She had green hair were some light blue streaks poking through the vibrant green.

She had brown eyes, I could also see a bit of a burn on the right side of her neck, I tilted my head a bit and pointed a finger at her “Ma'am, please stop following me. It's shady and quite weird.” She tilted her head to the side, she seemed confused by my words “What do you mean? I was just walking, miss. I wasn't following you, that's an accusation.”

Now I was confused, staring at her brown eyes for a moment “But.. I saw you in the store?..” “Miss, I wasn't in the store.” I apologized before leaving her behind, I opened the door with the key, set the things on the table, and looked at Paxe.

I opened my mouth to speak but I closed it, confusing the other as I helped put away the things in the bag before suggesting they could go to the park “Yeah, sure! Sounds great.” I smiled a bit, I needed to take my mind off it... Whatever was happening today.

We were now at the park, just calmly sitting on a bench as I had zoned off before seeing.. A green and blue striped body slithered behind a tree. I shook my head and looked over by the tree once more but nothing was there.

I looked at my arms, jumping a bit when I noticed the yellow vines creeping down my arm and then making a circle with a gape in it on my forearm, it happened again with just a thought as the middle began to haze.

It showed me, walking towards said tree. It was like a vision almost.. It showed I would be jumped and what looked like a snake body with a face, half of it was smiling with the other half frowning. It looked weird, honestly.

I waved my hand over my forearm, Paxe grabbed that hand and held it tightly to her chest “Joia, what is going on with you? Please explain.. Don't hide things from me, I want to be able to understand...” Paxe looked sad, it wasn't unnatural but it felt odd in the current situation.

“Are you... Truly Paxe?” The other nodded, it still felt odd but I shook my head “I would like to leave this reality.” I then heard voices blurt out “You are no fun!” “Nin!! If you wanted to pull this prank, you have to be quieter!” I then heard a smack and a huff “Don't hit my head, Aom!”

I stood up, the unknown haze surrounding my eyes faded and I looked at Paxe who was holding her head and facing the ground. I began looking around, eventually looking behind the tree where I saw the snake thing slither behind and saw two girls who looked almost identical.

I stared blankly at the two before walking back to Paxe and helping her up “Are you okay?” “I'm fine, don't worry my Joestar.” I held the other's hand and we left the two behind.
