Numb, That's all I felt
It felt as if this feeling was going to eat me whole.

"I'm so sorry for your loss but he's no more"

I felt my heart shatter at those words.
Everything went black...
I couldn't hear nor say anything 

I felt my legs move on their own 
while my emotions ended up taking over me 
I kept running through the streets 
Not really caring if I got hurt or not even if I did I couldn't feel it either way

Before I knew it I felt a drop on my cheek 
It wasn't from my eyes 
I looked up

It was raining...

I couldn't care less I kept going wherever my legs took me
I suddenly slipped and fell 

"Ouch.."

"Oh my gosh, are you okay?"
I heard an unfamiliar voice ask me worriedly 

"Uh-- Yea--"

I tried my best to seem convincing 
I don't think I did tho 
I mean look at my state who would even believe my white lies

"No, you're not!"
"Come here"

She came closer with an umbrella in her left hand
She hugged me 
It felt warm...
Safe...
Comforting...
I couldn't hold back my tears anymore 
I broke down into tears

~"Take me away to your hometown"~

"I-I'm sorry.."
I managed to say while catching my breath and wiping my tears away

"It's ok shhh calm down"
She said softly
Her voice... It's so comforting 

After a few minutes, I managed to calm down a little bit
The kind girl smiled at me

"Hey, do you want to talk about it now? Or maybe later?"
I just nodded not really hearing what she said

"Ok then I'll just give you my number"
"Also do you want me to accompany you to where you are headed to?"
"Yes please"
I said softly 
I didn't have anyone at home anyway, as the only person I did just passed away
She held my hand and took me to her car

"Here You can get in the front seat!"
"I'll drive you, You just let me know the directions"

I silently nodded 

~"I know It's real I can feel it"~

We reached my apartment
"Hey I live here too"

"Huh?"
I was confused so I just asked her

"Yea I live just a few apartments next to you"

"Wow the world really is a small place huh"
I said a little happy that this kind stranger was my neighbor 

"Well then that's great I can visit you anytime!"
"Can I come over tomorrow?"

I smiled seeing her excitement 

"Of course!"
"Well, then I'll be going now Call me if you need anything ok?"
After that, she left and I went to my apartment and went inside

I felt a lot better after meeting the kind stranger she was so nice, I was able to cry and feel a bit lighter I really can't thank her enough. 
She felt like an Angel 
Hopefully, the heavens don't take her back
