POV Odette:

An echoing beep blared throughout the room causing the already growing headache to become so much worse.

I wasn't ready to wake up yet.

Hell if I could, I'd stay in bed all day.

But with this headache becoming more and more frustrating I had no chose but to roll over to slam the alarm off.

Now having moved, I decided to try and stand up.

"Take it easy sweetheart."

Shooting my head up straight in the direction of the voice.

There in the doorway stood a handsome man.

He had sandy brown hair curly hair, with deep brown eyes.

His jaw was defined, his cheeks were sunken in a tiny bit that it really made his high cheekbones stand out.

His nose was slightly bigger than average but it suited him so well.

"H-hu-wha?"

He let out a laugh while making his way over to me.

Just watching him carry himself while he walks says a lot. He holds his head up high with straight shoulders.

He means business.

In his hand was a glass of orange juice and 2 pills.  Without a word he handed them to me, clearly expecting me to swallow the pills and drink the juice.

And I did exactly that.

The juice was slightly warm which actually helped with swallowing the pills.

After sculling every single drop I let out a very satisfied sigh.

"I've also ordered breakfast from a local diner, I hope you like muffins and coffee."

I gave a small smile, not really knowing if I can trust my voice at this very moment.

"Not much of a talker now?"

Sighing, he takes a seat down besides me on the bed.

He started to examine me. Looking me over like I was some animal in a zoo.

His intense stare started to make me nervous.

I was about to open my mouth to say thank you however my phone started to ring with a default ringtone.

"Pardon me."

Making my way out of the bed, I grab my phone on the way to the bathroom.

Only I don't know where the bathroom is.

"I'll excuse myself, I'll be outside when your ready to come out."

I turn back to face him and give him a smile. I still don't know how I got myself into this situation.

I guess I'll just ask the gentleman after I finish my call.

So with the vibrating becoming more intense, I decided the take a big breath and move the phone up to my ear while answering.

My biggest mistake was not looking at who called me.

"Odette! Where the hell are you? Your shift started 30 minutes ago!"

My bosses voice rang from the other line.

Crap, I totally forgot I picked up a shift.

"I-I am so sorry sir, I could be there in 30 minutes?"

"Forget it Odette! I've given you too many second chances, I even allowed you to pick up shifts! Only for you to never show up! Don't bother coming in for the rest of the week."
