You quietly glanced to the left again to look at Ruv, who was driving you home. "I can tell you're staring, Y/N." Ruv said, his deep voice rumbling.

You looked away with a blush. "sorry, I-.. Erm, sorry." you stuttered. Ruv exhaled, parking in an empty parking lot. "You gonna tell me what the deal with you is lately?" he asked you.

You blushed, keeping your gaze astray. "i-it's nothing. I'm fine." you informed him. Ruv put his arms behind his head. "I'm not driving you home till you tell me." he said. "nothing's wrong! I swear!" you pouted.

He huffed. "You've been like this for weeks, now, just tell me, we'll talk, and then i'll drive you home." Ruvyzvat told you. "I don't wanna talk about it." you rolled your eyes.

"I thought you said nothing was wrong," Ruv raised an eyebrow. Dammit, he was playing you. "I- meant there is nothing wrong, and if there was, I wouldn't wanna talk about it."

"Mhm, Theres definitely something wrong." Ruv crossed his arms. "No there isn't."

"Then I guess we'll be here all night."
"I guess we will." you promptly said.

About an hour passed. You both sat in silence as you refused to tell him what your deal was.

"It's somebody, isn't it?" Ruv guessed. "where'd you get that??" you gasped. "It's somebody you can't tell, isn't it."

"I- maybe- no, I don't know." you looked away.

"You wanna tell them, but you can't because you're scared it might ruin your relationship with them." Ruv kept speaking. "How did you know??"

"I have my ways. Who is it?" he asked. "..I don't know if I could tell you." you told him. Ruv stretched. "I'm not Sarv, it's not like i'm gonna plan some crazy scheme to get you and whoever it is together. But i'm sure you just wanna let someone know, even if it isn't the-"

"-It's you,"
You calmly stated.
Ruv widened his eyes.
"It's- me?" he asked.
"I didn't stutter."

Ruv's face softened. It would have been more benign if he could smile, but you understood he didnt have the face muscles for that. If he did smile, it'd look forced.

Ruv placed his hand near your head and moved a few strands of your hair back behind your ear. "Hm, that was the last thing I would've expected." he raised his eyebrows.

You blushed as he held your face. Ruv kissed your cheek, the soft, warm expression still on his face. "So..?" you kindly asked.

"Yes, Y/N. I love you, too." he told you. You felt the tension ease away as Ruv spoke so calmly to you in the voice that normally boomed.

You smiled, and laid your hand on the console of the car. He put his hand in yours. "See, that wasn't that hard.." Ruvyzvat told you.

"I was getting sick with anxiety!" you huffed. "You'll be fine."
You betted he was smiling in his head.
At least it was off your chest. That, and he loved you back.

"Don't let Sarv know about this, she'll never leave us alone." Ruv looked at you through his pupilless eyes. "Agreed."
