She looked out of the window over the green rolling hills of the countryside as they flew by. For Rebecca these fields were unfamiliar to her as she had never been in this country before and the only reason she was here was because she was forced to by her parents. Rebecca was an 18 year old girl who had lived all of her life in the city, but thanks to a new war between her homeland and another country she was forced to flee north by train for her own safety. Her parents had opted to stay at home and fight which was what Rebecca wanted to do as well, but they had insisted that she flee and she couldn't do anything to stop their decision. So there she found herself on a train, surrounded by kids of all different ages, some as young at 3 with her being the oldest and only 18 year old on that train. It felt rather lonely and depressing to not have anyone to talk to as none of her friends were with her. She didn't know where they were or if they were going to flee at all. She didn't know if she was going to see her family or friends ever again.
The train slowly crawled into the station in the middle of a small town. All of them got off the train and were greeted by a quite old guy, around 50 if she had to guess. He was wearing a grey jacket and green cargo pants that made him look like a character from Dad's Army. He lead the group of children out to the front of the station where a large group of people surrounded the entrance giving only around two and a half meters worth of space in a semi-circle shape. They were lined up in order of age with the youngest at the front and one by one the kids were given a temporary home and family in a system that could only be described as an auction without any money involved. It felt dehumanising as if they were like cattle and it got more worrying for Rebecca as she watch the crowd grow smaller and smaller as the children were handed off, each family only being given one child to take care of. As the queue grew smaller she noticed one guy in particular constantly staring at her as if he was hoping that he'd the only person who is wanting her. She felt rather mixed about this as she didn't know if he was genuinely nice and wanted to take care of her or if he was a creep just wanting to exploit her. He was the only person who was by themselves and he was the youngest person there with her having to guess his age at around his late teens, early 20s with his pale face, blonde hair and lean body. He wore a green jacket, black cargo pants and a pair of green wellington boots. She herself also had a pale face and blonde hair, but she was nowhere near as thin as him. City life hadn't done too well to her body as she was quite large being around 350lbs with most of her fat ending up in her thighs, butt and belly which gave her a rather pear shaped body. This was also a contrast to all of the other children who were thin and fit, but she to was quite fit despite her size as she spent most of her PE time in highschool on weightlifting machines in the gym which helped her build up a lot of muscle, though it was covered by the rolls of fat in her arms and legs. She nicknamed it fatty muscle and it gave her quite a lot of strength that you wouldn't guess from her appearance. Maybe that's why the guy was staring at her, he maybe saw through the rolls of fat and saw the strong girl underneath. She wasn't sure and there was no way to tell without asking him which she wouldn't get the chance to unless he successfully offered to take her home. Eventually, she was at the front of the queue and the last kid on offer. She noticed quite a few people turned and walked away when the kid before her was chosen leaving only two young couples, three older couples and the lone guy.
"And we are on the last kid of the day or should I say young women as we have Rebecca. Aged 18 and being the biggest girl of the day at over 300lbs, who's willing to give this girl a home?" The 50 year old guy asked who sounded like a professional auctioneer. After around 5 seconds of silence, the lone guy said that he would and after a further 10 seconds of silence, he seemed to be the only one willing to put up with her. The auctioneer declared him the winner as she picked up her bags and slowly walked over to him.
"Hey. I am Jack. It's nice to meet you Rebecca." He said to her in a kind and caring voice. She remained silent, unsure whether she could trust him and his kind demeanor.
"Quiet type I see. Well, that's alright. We can get to know each other when we get home." He said cheerily as he lead her towards his black pickup truck which had the bottom half covered in mud. She opened the door to the back seats and threw her bags there before closing the door and jumping into the passenger seat which barely head in her bubbly butt. He jumped into the driver's seat and they began the drive to her new home for the foreseeable future.
