VISITING THE IN-LAWS

"Did she like it? I know your other concubines loved their rooms as well."

"She loved it, but she made a comment. I am not sure how to take it."

"What was the comment, my dear boy?"

"She said that the secret room was a good place to go sneak a nap."

All my dad could do was laugh about it. "Take it as you will."

"Ok, if you don't want to explain, I understand."

"Well, I thought having that special maid would have explained everything to you."

"OH!!" being embarrassed as I just figured out what she meant by that.

All I can hear is my dad and Shuming laughing at me when it finally hit me what she meant.

"Well, I need to head back to her place. I promised I will return."

My dad said his goodbyes. We left for her palace as we are walking. I noticed how the walls are as white as snow but at the same time give a lonely feeling about them. I had to wonder if that is why there are so many problems in my dad's harem because of loneliness. Or it could be the ghost of the past, the left over emotions of their loneliness.

We finally reached Na's palace. I couldn't help but smile she makes my day.

"Is everything ok?" she asked.

"The emperor just had a gift for your dad, that's all."

"oh, a gift for my dad like my dad needs anything. He may hold an influential position in court. But we live like he does not have a title."

"That is why my dad likes him so much. Since he does not let money get to his head."

"I know we did a lot of things for the people growing up. My parents did not pamper me at all."

The week went by rather quickly because she kept busy organizing her books while I worked in her study. She seemed in her element of the books. I cannot believe it is the simplest things that are keeping her happy this week.

I stayed with her all week even though we didn't consummate every night. We took the time to get to know each other each day. It was finally the day to head to her parents. She was so excited I think she got to the sedan before I did. Her things were loaded up quickly. She was sitting there, just waiting for me.

As we were going through the town part, I can see all the people just getting ready for tonight. All the lanterns, all the food being prepped, it was pretty amazing to watch. Seeing this is my first Autumns Festival out of the palace.

We started our journey this morning to her parents' house. It was a quiet ride because she had her nose in a book. I didn't mind at all. She does what she loves to do. I can't help but smile.

We finally get to her parents' house. "it is just how I imagined it would be. It is not too big but not too small either. You made it sound like it was a shack."

She was laughing at me. Her parents were waiting for us in the courtyard. It was amazing instead of the usual flowers we see everywhere they just outlined the path, but in the middle of the courtyard was a huge pond with a rock serving as a waterfall.

Her parents look so happy to see her. She was running up like a kid. It was quite cute to watch how she interact with her parents.

I could hear her mom. "You're a married woman now. You don't need to hold on to me anymore."

I took her by her hand and led her into her parents' house fully. We headed for the sitting room to give them the gifts and socialize for a bit. I can see that they don't have a lot of staff on hand, but you can tell they live comfortable but not noble comfortable.

As I look around the sitting room, it was just a standard room that had the chairs and tables with it and the main table for the head of the house. A long rug that was just two colors on it, no pattern. If I didn't know any better, I could swear that he was just someone who sold goods in the market.

I looked over at Na's mom whispering something to Cao, then she shot a look over at me.

"Do you mind sharing a room with your wife?" she asked

I couldn't hold it in anymore. "Yes Madam, it is completely fine!!"

Her dad was shocked. "For a crown prince, you sure don't act like one."

Everyone in the room laughed. It was nice and comfortable here.

"They are newlyweds you need to cut them some slack." Her mom told her dad.

I am still nervous that I still don't make the prime minister's ideal son-in-law. But he seems happy. We left to get ready for dinner.

I hear him say, "I expect a grandson before you leave this house, young lady."

I had to laugh about that, wondering if all fathers think that as well, because I know my father is hoping for a grandchild out of this honeymoon. We entered her childhood room. It surprised me to see nothing but books everywhere.

I couldn't help myself with her anymore. "So, this is where you used to sleep. How about we work on those grandkids for our parents?"

"If you are good. I will think about it."

I couldn't control my urges right now. My hands had to be wrapped around her. "I could stay like this forever."

"Quit being such a romantic."

She leaned into me. My heart is racing. I want her more and more. I don't think I could contain myself much longer. Maybe she won't notice. I crept her to the bed. I let out a nervous laugh when she said, "It is still daylight."

I gave Cao orders to make sure no one would bother us right now. I kissed her lips and let my hands slide down her back. Moving my body and hers in sync, she can feel my body against hers. Feeling my dragon getting hard, I cannot control myself, wanting to feel her lotus against my dragon.

Sliding my hand under her clothes, I can feel her lotus getting wet. She isn't stopping me. I continue to lay her on the bed. Removed her clothes and slid my dragon right on in. It slides in so nicely, like we are meant to be.

We have to attend to dinner, and I have to go quickly even though I want it to last. I want to make sure she is completely satisfied. I can feel her muscles tense up against my dragon. She is ready to explode just feeling this makes me want to explode as well.

We both exploded at the same time after I looked into her eyes and gave her the most passionate kiss. I can hear her final moan. I collapse right on her and can feel her body relax. We laid there for a moment. It was time to get ready for dinner. She looked at me with a big smile on her face.

She looked at me. "After dinner, we head to the festival because my family has things there to do. If you are up to it, of course. Seeing it is the first night of the festival. I think we should show up. By the way, the staff has the night off."

I lead her to the dinner table out in the middle of the garden where the family was waiting for us. Seeing the first wife was there as well, as well as her brothers and sisters are all there as well.

I whispered to her, "what is the situation here?"

"The woman next to my mom is the first wife, the madam of the house, but we call her mom as well."

"I am sorry I couldn't greet you today as you arrived."

"I understand." Na said.

I noticed the moms were whispering to each other. I really couldn't make it out, but it sounds like they want grandchildren as well. Finishing up dinner, the first wife brought out the boxes of moon cakes.

"This is for the neighbors, and yours will be out shortly. Our family always does something for our neighbors."

This is the first Autumn Festival. I won't be with the royal family, but I prefer to be here. It is so relaxing, no fighting with each other. They are a happy family getting along with each other. I wasn't sure how things worked around here seeing the other kids. Once they received their moon cakes, they downed them as fast as they could. Everyone here has a smile on their faces. This is what I imagined a family to be like. It is so peaceful here.
