A gorgeous day rises on Mondstadt as I leap from one of the buildings and begin gliding down. A high noon sun warmly beams down on me as winds gently flow around my face. Interestingly, I spot Sucrose by the Alchemy Table prodding the copious amount of materials on the shelf. I decide to quickly plunge out of the air, crashing into the fountain and shooting a surge of water all over my body. Nothing a little Vaporizing won't solve!
Out of the corner of my eye, I spot Albedo scanning through the shelf near the alchemy table, muttering something about Cryo and Pyro. Curious... he usually always stays upon Dragonspine. Why is he in Mondstadt?
"Hello Albedo!" I call out, turning to face him.
"Hello Traveller and Paimon. You're... drenched?" he greets, then raises an eyebrow.
"Yes, yes," I shrug off, waiting for the Hydro energy to dissipate.
"Why are you down here?" Paimon juts in, popping in between our faces, "Don't you live in Dragonspine?"
"Ah, you must've heard me. I've recently made a new friend who also lives on Dragonspine. Her name is Fiona, I don't think you've heard of her?"
I shake my head.
"Well, I've told her a bit about you so she would be a bit less afraid."
"Afraid?"
"Yes. Unfortunately, she's very apprehensive around new people, and is not purposefully cold to others, rather she does it in order to protect herself. She also has a Cryo Vision, but lately she's been losing control of her power. That's why I came down here to select some Pyro Regisvine pieces..." he elaborates, staring at the jars before snagging one."This shall do... Anyways, I'd like for you to meet her. Is that alright?"
"Sure!" I reply, "Let's go!" I cheer, zipping off towards Dragonspine.
"W-wait we're going to Dragonspine?!" Paimon cries, quickly catching up, "Oh no... Paimon's going to be a popsicle!"
Didn't we just establish that?
. . .
Blipping through the teleport waypoint and into the camo at the foot of Dragonspine, I feel the cold air swiftly take its grasp. I stare up the mountain, watching the Nail levitating above the massive hill of ice and snow as the remaining chunks of stone carefully orbit the pillar. I dash back to the teleport point and reappear to that ruined bridge.
I hastily take in a few breaths of the chilling air, pacing back a few steps, and then sprinting at full speed. My shoes slam against the frigid wood, and as soon as I reach the edge, leap off of the planks with a jolt of Anemo energy exploding from my feet. I launch through the air, feeling the rush of icy air against my body, before quickly landing on the other side performing a quick roll over my shoulder and springing to my feet.
"First time without the windglider," I smugly perk up to Paimon, "Of course you just fly."
"Hey! Flying takes energy too!"
"I don't see you sweating, eh?" At least the freezing temperatures help me cool down as we slowly ascend the last bit of the mountain to the lab. Before long, we arrive at the camp and someone's already there.
A young lady with long, straight black hair that drapes down to her waist with sapphire blue glasses framing her ocean-blue eyes is carefully analyzing a board pasted with all sorts of sheets. A deep blue headband with a small bowtie in the same colour tops her head while an elegant blazer with golden buttons made of dark blue fabric covers a white dress shirt finished with a black silk tie in a windsor knot, beautifully dressing her torso. Her Cryo Vision is neatly pinned on the lower portion of her right torso. Finally, a black and blue plaid skirt ending at her knees coupled with solid black tights snugly on her legs accompanied with black dress shoes finish off her look.
