Tsukasa put his keys in the door to his house, unlocking it and walking inside. He took a deep breath and walked to his room, he just needed to put his backpack in his room, and then he'd be going to see Rui.

..Should he bring something for them? Flowers, a card..?

Would Rui even be awake? Nene had stated he wasn't when she had gone to visit him, after all.

And even if he was awake, what would he say to Rui? Rui definitely wasn't the type of person who would want people to feel sorry for him, if anything, they seemed to hate people worrying about them.

Was he just supposed to act like everything was normal..?

Tsukasa knew that logically, that was probably what they'd want..but still he paced around the room, contemplating what on Earth he was going to do when he saw Rui.
Should he just start a normal conversation?

How would he even do that?

It felt wrong to just ignore that Rui had gotten so severely injured in the first place, what if ignoring the subject would make Rui feel as if he didn't care..?

And why did starting a conversation with him seem like such a hard, out-of-the-question thing to do now? Tsukasa always knew what to say!
But, apparently, not in this situation.

He groaned, tugging at his hair, why did Rui always have to be so stressful?

No, it would be wrong of him to blame this on Rui.

It was his stupid feelings getting in the way.
Why did he have to care so much for Rui?
And why had he fallen for them? Rui was insane!

But maybe that was exactly what Tsukasa had found so endearing about them in the first place. Tsukasa flopped backwards onto his bed, covering his face and sighing heavily.
..His crazy ideas, his flashy appearance despite being rather reserved, the way they'd always seemed so carefree and relaxed even when they were stressed..the way he always smiled, and the way you could tell when it was genuine.

That was what made Tsukasa like him.

That...that was why Tsukasa loved them.

Tsukasa loved him.
Everything about him.

Didn't that feel odd to say?
..But he knew that it was right.

"Onii-chan?" Saki asked, Tsukasa hadn't heard the door open.

Had he even closed it?

He moved his hands from his face, only to see his younger sister looking down at him with a worried expression.

"Are you ok?? You seem stressed." She asked with a frown.

Tsukasa smiled lightly, "Yeah, yeah I'm alright. I was just thinking about something." He sat up to face her. Honestly, he might not have been alright right now..but he knew his stress was just the result of him overreacting.

Saki stared at him for a moment, before huffing and crossing her arms, "You've been acting weird all week! You can't keep telling me nothing's wrong like it isn't obvious!" She raised her voice, though her eyebrows were knit to display a face of concern, not anger. "Was it the show? Did it not go well?" she asked, "You've been acting weird since that night." her expression softened, and she sat down next to him with a quiet sigh.

Tsukasa crossed his arms, gripping his sleeves and looking towards the floor. The remembrance of what had happened on the night of their performance had brought on a wave of sadness with it, playing back scenes he didn't want to experience again.
Bringing back feelings he didn't want to think about again.
The fear, Rui's panicked expression, the blood..
