Mr. Fleischer was answering a mind-numbing list of questions from the auditor when his secretary peeked into the office. "Excuse me, sir. Which office is Marilyn waiting in?"
"The Napoleon room."
She frowned. "Sir, no one is in that room."
Before Mr. Fleischer could respond, the lights flickered and went out.
Then the fire alarm began to wail.
The sprinklers kicked on three seconds later.
