A moment of silence past and I lifted my head up and notice that we were in a small room with a ladder.
I glance over to Hoggle, who is staring at me with widen eyes.
'Why did you have to do something like that'? I stood up and dusted myself.
'Like what? Hey, at least I wasn't the one kneeling with their face next to his crystal balls'.
'I'm talking about the deal you made. He could hide that crystal ball anywhere, maybe even the beginning'.
'I haven't thought of that but that's cheating. He will know to hide it in the castle, I feel it or even somewhere in the city'.
Hoggle shook his head and started up the ladder.
'I guess this leads the way out'? I asked, following behind.
Climbing up the rickety ladder behind Hoggle was a breeze, as we quickly made it up top. Hoggle went first, climbing out of the small tunnel that lead us out.
Soon it was my turn to climb out, pushing myself up I can see more clearly and feel the warm sun on my skin.
'I never felt so grateful to be alive, smelling the fresh air again', I comment with a wide and childish grin on my face as I climb out of the vase that the ladder lead us to.
With my feet planted on the ground, I look around. I found we're in an area that has high hedge walls, and statues that are evenly space around the area. Then I saw something strange. A brunch of flowers quickly grew on the wall right before my eyes.
'You get roses down here too'? I questioned. 'Weird. Considering the eye plant things at the beginning'.
'OH! The cleaners, the bog of stench- You sure got his attention! Ahh! This is what we need'! Hoggle panics and reminds me of the past events that occur.
'What exactly is the bog of eternal stench? Sounds gross', I cringe at the thought.
'Yous smell forever if you happen to put as much as one foot in it'. I cringed again.
'Now, where to Hoggle'? I ask in a friendly tone, in hopes to change the topic. Hoggle spins to a stop and faces me with wide frantic blue eyes.
'Oh no! That's it! I quit'! Hoggle yell out. Shocked from his response.
'Come on, the adventure is only just started'.
'I'm a coward, and Jareth scares me', Hoggle explains.
'What kind of position is that'? I thought aloud.
'No position. That's my point. You wouldn't be so brave if you'd ever smelt the bog of eternal stench. It's, it's, it's- ahh yuck'! Hoggle explains. But his explanation just confuses me more.
'Man, this place makes me want to go home more by the minute. It's so strange here'. I thought to myself, as I compare the difference between the two worlds.'Is that all it does? Just, smells bad'? I ask, trying to understand this "bog".
'Believe me, that's enough. You'll smell bad for the rest of your life! It'll never wash off', he explained.
No wonder why Jareth threaten him with it, that would be terrible and gross and no one will come near you.
'If that's all, I'll be going now'! Hoggle cries in frustration, wanted nothing more than to be as far away from me as possible and never having to face Jareth ever again.
'Come on, Hoggle. I like having at least someone by my side to talk to even though you might betray me like Indiana Jones was'.
'Who is this Indiana Jones'?
