Little Hatred with More Love

3rd Person's POV:

Kang Y/n, Kang Daniel's little sister, she's born in 2000. Growing up, she's been a chick magnet, however, she never paid attention to the people who asks her out.

Her brother always reminds her to be cautious around other people and that not everyone is kind. When her brother became a trainee/idol, she barely sees him.

They were pretty close ever since they were kids, but not everything will be the same. As years goes by, she became more independent.

She doesn't want her brother sending her money or things she didn't need, plus, she have a work herself, she always kindly reject Daniel's offers.

She moved out of their house when she turned 18 and the place she moved is near TWICE's dorm, (un)fortunately.

Just last year, her brother broke up with Jihyo, she knew what happened, her brother always tell her story about them and she can see how sincere his eyes were.

Once, the two were in her apartment to visit her and for KD to introduce Jihyo to her, she immediately liked Jihyo because of how nice she were. But, when the two settled on her couch, they were all lovey dovey, too much for her liking.

When the two broke up, KD was in her house for 2 weeks, bawling his eyes out. She have no idea what to do so she just show her comfort through making foods.

•Present time (2022)•

"Oppa, let me be a trainee in your company." "No, do you know how hard it would be? I don't want you to get through the same path I've been, Y/n." "But oppa-" "We are not going to talk about this anymore."

Y/n let out a angry huff, "You were never like this before! You always told me that you'll support me when I decided to be an idol, what happened, huh?!"

"Yah, you're talking to your older brother!" "Was it because of what happened to you and Jihyo unnie, huh?! Why should I get involved?!"

"Don't ever mention her name!" "Why?! Because you haven't moved on yet?! Is that it? If it is, then don't get me involved!"

Daniel sighed heavily, "Look, Y/n, this is not about her-" "Oppa, I want you out of my house right now. I don't want to talk about it anymore." "Y/n, I'm sorry." "Just leave, oppa."

The older sighed, "Okay, take care of yourself." Ever since Daniel and Jihyo broke up, it drastically changed the guy's attitude, he became more strict and won't let Y/n go out without any guards around her.

Because of this, a part of her hated Jihyo, she always think that Jihyo was the root of the change in her brother.

Sometimes, when she's going out, she sees all TWICE members, but she never paid attention even though they knew each other.

This time, she decided to go out and just chill outside, but as she opened her door, she saw Jihyo right in front of her.

"Uhm, hi!" The older greeted, "Hi. What do you need?" She asked, the hatred in her growing, "I-I just heard some shouting here earlier, is everything alright?"

"Yes. Now excuse me, I need to go." Y/n said and walked away, "Are you angry?" Jihyo asked which made the latter stop.

"You don't need to know." She hissed, Jihyo took her wrist, "I'm sorry." "You should be." Just then, Daniel came back as he forgot few of his things.

"What are you doing here?" Y/n asked, "I forgot my stuffs. How about you, Ms. Park?" "I'm here to apologize to Y/n." "Oh, I see, I won't bother you two." Daniel said and went inside.

"Can I talk to you outside, Y/n?" "No. Leave me alone." Y/n said and ran away, Jihyo sighed and went back to their dorm.

"What's with the face?" Sana asked as Jihyo entered, "Just about Y/n." "Wae? What happened?" "I'm trying to apologize since I thought I might've damaged their brother and sister relationship."

"Is that what you're really bothered about? Or do you have feelings for her?" Momo asked as she sat down beside the younger.

"That's ridiculous." "Oh, come on, Ji. We know you, we saw how you stare at her right after you broke up with Daniel." Sana said.

"Is she the reason?" Nayeon asked, "Reason to what?" "Why you and Daniel broke up." "No, she's not." Jihyo answered defensively.

"Alright, chill out. We're just asking."

Y/n is sitting on a bench on a park when a can of cola was handed out to her, she looked up and saw her brother, "What?"

"I'm sorry for my attitude." Daniel said, "I'll think about it." The younger replied. "I didn't mean to burst out like that, I'm just worried about you."

Y/n chuckled,"If you don't want me in your company, just say so. There's still plenty out there, I don't even need your help."

"No, no, don't think like that. I'd be more relieved if you're in my company, I was just really stressed out earlier." "You do know that I don't believe any excuses, wether if it's from you nor our parents."

Y/n stood up and was about to leave when her brother spoke,"Is this what you'll always do? Runaway from your problems and leave them be? You know you can't runaway from everything, every one of those things have consequences."

"Then what do you want me to do? Just always listen to you and what you want me to do? You know, I regret being with you, I wish appa just took me with him." Y/n said with a teary eye before leaving.
