Regrets | Bajifuyu fic

Regrets.

Baji never pays any mind to Chifuyu, ever since Chifuyu started his loyalty to Baji, Baji just ignores it and lets him do what he wants.

Baji felt hus hands twitch looking at Chifuyu who's on the floor and all bruised up, Baji didn't even stared long and looks at Hanma.

Chifuyu is just a person he saved, Baji has nothing to do with him but why... is his heart hurting so much?

Baji lays down on Chifuyu's lap watching as Chifuyu cries while holding him.

"Thank you... Chifuyu!"

Baji felt tired and sleepy, he felt Chifuyu pull him close and the last thing he felt is Chifuyu's warmth.

(How could I have just realized how warm Chifuyu is? When he had always given me a warm smile... A smile that was only meant for me...)

Baji stares at Chifuyu who is crying at his grave. Baji felt bad but he choosed this.

"Saying thank you... it's unfair!"

Baji smiled and pats the male's head like he always used to do. The only difference is... the blonde isn't smiling brightly, and he can't feel his hands brushing through his hair.

"You really are a troublesome guy, Chifuyu."

Baji waited and waited for Chifuyu to visit but only the others came, Baji flew away from his grave to search for Chifuyu.

He saw Chifuyu on the train with Kazutora, it was late at night and only the two of them are on the train, very much flirting with each other.

"I love you Chifuyu~"

Chifuyu laughs and patted Kazutora's head.

"I love you more, Tora."

Baji stares at the couple and felt a pang on his chest. Only then did Baji realize that...

"I am inlove with Chifuyu."

Baji stared at the couple as he wondered.. if he didn't die would everything stay the same? Or will Chifuyu still love Kazutora?

Neverthless... he is happy aslong as the two of them are happy. Baji gave them his blessings and smiled.

"It's too late for regrets now anyways... I hope that you two will be happy"

Baji flew back to his grave and decided to stay there and wait for the two. Maybe in another life. Chifuyu will be his.
