5. I Like him

Ishitha's pov:

"Yeah I will do that by this month ending" I got a call from head office asking me to send the files, i am so so tired with all the work at office and tomorrow our family has to visit Dahiya's to confirm the ceremony dates. Arghh why can't indians just marry away bride and groom normally by tying the mangalsuthr, why do they have to go all Miss and Mr Universe  on us?

       Now I need to get those fiels from rohan and have to send them to the head office by nithya.

"Knock knock" I said when i am at rohan's cubicle but there's no response from him not even a head nod. I look across to see priya shrugging and mouthed 'he is moddy since yesterday'  without any delay I moved into his cubicle

"Hey rohan I need a fiel for the.... " He handed me a blue file  before I could complete my sentence "what happened? " I patted on his shoulder but there is no response  it's uncanny seeing him like this.
As it is twelve in the noon I am thinking of speaking to him over lunch break so I left the place taking the fiel.

Around one in the noon we will be given an hour for dinner , yesterday was a shock to me I often go to that hospital cafeteria to buy food but didn't know that was dahiya's and Arjun is the head ,world is indeed  so small.

   I walked into the dining area in our office building it's a small one though, I found my team mates there except rohan

"Priya where is rohan? " I asked her, she is very busy guzzling  vegetable biryani but she looked up  with puffed up cheeks, she is looking very funny like a cartoon character

"He didn't show up" She resumed  guzzling, maybe she  is very hungry.

  "Rohan come on let's have some  food it's...  hey what happened
buddy? "  He is wiping his tears
his face is all red and eyes are bloodshoot. God what happened to this boy

"Don't come near me ishu I don't need your compassion" He nothing but growled, his tone tugged at my heart but still he is my friend  so I tried again

"Hey you know that you can talk to me right?" I said moving to him and turned him fully to my side he is avoiding my gaze,his hands griping the swing chair's hands tight to the point his knuckles are turning white, I crouched to his sitting level and turned his face to me "what happened? "  I questioned.
He just flung himself into my arms and started sobbing "just ho hold mm me please"he is shivering like a leaf in my embrace, I didn't say anything just rubbed his back till his breathing become  normal. " I am sorry but thanks for being here with me" He pulled himself from me

"You don't need to thank me, if you feel like sharing am just two cubicles away" I forwarded tissue box towards him, he chuckled   "let's have some food from your brother's hospital cafeteria yeah? " I wiggled my eyebrows to which he just nodded.

 "Two vegetable paella  please" I ordered at the cafeteria and then we moved inside to sit at the window seat  " You never said this hospital is your brother's? "
He never once said he is the Dahiya's   too 

"Actually we are no that close "   understandable! I hummed but didn't probe on his statement  "Tell me something about your brother just anything" I Said in a peppy tone but our order came before he could start so we haphazardly gulped down the warm  food, the food here is to die for. By two in the noon we reached our office building we didn't speak much but the silence is endurable.
 
I finally got my car back from the shed, my baby missed me so much. I drived to our penthouse as it's just five thirty in the evening  no one is home , I walked into my room got fresh and changed into my blue color doraemon Pajamas. I opened my macbook to watch some flicks but an idea popped in my head soon I am typing about Doctor Arjun Dahiya the head of Dahiya hospital. The google says he perceived his MBBS and PG from Delhi AIMS wow  ,he is indeed a book worm and it says he performed many surgeries in very less span of time for his age and it boasted how incredible and amazing his work was and so on.
