The Saviors of a Kid °Hiatus°

Prologue

Story Prologue:

Tommy woke up breathing heavily as he tried to calm himself down. Welp, another day another bad memory, Tommy thought to himself as he sat up. He knew that a family wanted to see him today to see if they wanted to foster him. But, he knew that he would most likely be seeing his room again, especially since he didn't want to get fostered again. Not after what happened last time. The blonde was done with being fostered and just wanted to be considered an orphan for life, but things never go as planned do they.

When Tommy arrived in the room where they were to meet their foster families, Tommy was met with a tall boy with brown hair staring at him. Tommy didn't know why the man wanted to stare at him, but decided to speak up. "Um, excuse me. Tall brown haired dude, can you please stop staring at me?" This earned a look of surprise from the other 2 members. The man quickly stopped looking at the young blonde though and was blushing out of embarrassment. As the man regained his composure, Tommy heard another start to speak and turned to look at them.

"So little dude, why don't we all introduce ourselves! My name is Philza! The teen next to me with pink hair is Techno and the man you were calling as 'tall dude' is Wilbur!" Tommy looked at the man and took in each of the names once he had all of them memorized, Tommy spoke and said, "My name is Tommy." As the blonde looked up at Philza he took in all of the details about him. Philza was a tall adult with blonde hair and green eyes, he was wearing a green bucket hat that had white stripes. He also had 2 large crow wings coming out of his back. Techno was a tall teen with pink hair, blue eyes, a crown, and a large red cape running down his back with fur on the edges. Wilbur was a tall brown haired teen with dark brown eyes.

While Tommy was taking in the group's appearances, they were taking in his. Tommy was a short teen that seemed underweight, he had blonde hair and sky blue eyes, his shirt was white with red sleeves, and there were holes all over it, his pants were a khaki color and just like his shirt had holes on them. "Buddy, we are gonna let you stay here for a few days, but expect us to be back!" Philza said with a large smile. The young blonde gave out a simple nod as a response to say that he understood.

Time Skip to 5 days later

Tommy was starting to lose faith in the men. Sure he wanted to stay in the orphanage, but he trusted these people. Something was telling him that he could trust them and that they wouldn't ever hurt him or do anything to hurt him and if they did it would be an accident. After about an hour of worrying, Tommy started to hyperventilate, he knew that he was causing himself a panic attack, but he couldn't stop it. The blonde sat on the floor with his knees against his chest and his arms wrapped around his knees, his head was buried into his arms and he could feel the tears streaming down his face. Suddenly, he felt a hand on his back and felt someone pull him closer to them. "Calm down and mimic my breathing patterns." A monotone voice said.

Slowly Tommy did as he was instructed he knew that this person was helping him even though they didn't have to. When Tommy was fully calmed down, he fell asleep in the person's arms. Techno decided that Tommy should be allowed to sleep, especially since the young boy seemed to have not slept in a while. Carefully, as to not drop Tommy, Techno picked up the luggage that Tommy had which was barely anything.

When Techno got into the main lobby, Philza came over to him and was questioning what happened to Tommy. Techno looked at Phil, which made the man go silent as Techno began to speak. "I honestly have no clue what happened. I just walked into the kid's room and saw that he was having a panic attack. I calmed him down and then he fell asleep so I just decided to grab his things and carefully bring him down here."

After Techno finished speaking he looked at Phil to see that he was concerned. "Guess we really need to help him. He probably has a lot of other problems too. For now though we should try to get closer to the kid so that he trusts us." Phil said which made Techno nod subtly in agreement.

Time Skip to Car

Wilbur wasn't told much about what happened with Tommy, only that Tommy had fallen asleep. Somehow the blonde was able to be moved into the car without waking up. Guess he really did need sleep huh, Wilbur thought to himself slightly smiling at the boy. It was gonna take a good 5 hours to get back to the house so they decided to get some food. They pulled over to a Dunkin' Donuts on the side of the road and ordered 1 plain bagel for Technoblade, 2 plain bagels with butter for Wilbur and Phil, and 1 plain bagel with cream cheese for Tommy.

An hour after they got food (2/5 hours complete on the road trip) Tommy woke up. The family gave him his bagel and he ate a few bites of it before stopping. Techno noticed this and asked the boy, "Hey why didn't you finish? You're obviously hungry by now and you only took 6 small bites out of it." Tommy looked down at his feet before muttering, "Old homes didn't feed me properly. Only small morsels of leftover food and that was only if there was leftover food." Phil pulled over and everyone looked at the kid before Phil spoke up, "Can you tell us more about your old foster homes?"

The blonde nodded to let them know that he would begin to tell them.

Flashback Start

Tommy was just taken into his first foster home! He was so excited. The family seemed nice when they had first met, but Tommy soon found out the truth. They were in fact just looking for a kid to foster so that the kid could be their butler/maid. Whenever Tommy didn't clean properly they would slap him in the face and tell him to move. When Tommy burnt himself trying to make them food they didn't do anything to help the poor child instead they just scoffed at him and walked away. After a month of being treated like this an inspector from the orphanage was sent to check on Tommy. Once they saw how the 10 year old was being treated they immediately brought him back to the orphanage.

4 months after that whole experience Tommy was able to go to his 2nd foster home. The family was good this time and took proper care of him, but when the father passed away the mother just couldn't take care of Tommy anymore since she had 3 other kids to take care of as well as him. So after a good 3 months in that home he was sent back to the orphanage.

A year after that Tommy was put into his 3rd foster home. Sadly, this family was worse than the first one. They just wanted Tommy because he looked sweet, but once they found out how much work he was they started calling him a mistake, worthless, and they started kicking him and punching him anytime they saw him. He was there for 1 month then the inspector came by and saw Tommy covered in blood, he was immediately sent back to the orphanage.

2 months after that fiasco, Tommy was sent to his 4th foster home which was just like the 2nd one. He had a loving family and was treated nicely but once the time came to try and adopt Tommy they found that they didn't want him after all. It was a good 2 months there before he was once again back where he started.

After 2 more months Tommy was 12 and was sent to his 5th foster home. He lasted 5 months there because they were a sweet family, but then they became exactly like his 3rd family so the inspector took him away.

8 more months and Tommy was 13 and in his 6th foster home which was just like the last one. He was there for 2 months before the inspector managed to take him away from that home.

2 months later he was in his 7th foster home which was like the 4th one. He lasted 2 months in that home before the family returned him to the orphanage.

2 months later he was in another abusive household and before anyone could get him out of the foster home, the father stabbed him in the stomach and Tommy was sent to the hospital.

He was then 14 and waited for 6 months before he was sent to what he hoped would be his last foster home. The family was even more abusive than the last one was and Tommy was sent to the hospital for another 4 months.

End of Flashback

The family stood in front of Tommy and looked at him with concern. They had no idea that so many people could be so bad to such a sweet child. They decided to take him into their family so that the kid could have a nicer and more peaceful life. Little did they know that it would be much more complicated than they had expected.
