N: "England would have never taken it," Anglo responded, although learning this new information angered him that he didn't know before. He stood and chased after England, speed walking until he saw his son about to open the door to Saxon's room.
"Don't take another step," he warned, his wings slightly bristled as he approached the country. England froze where he was, not sure if he should face his father, and he stayed where he was until he felt the other's presence right next to him.
"I'm going to che-," he began, but was immediately cut off by Anglo.
"You didn't feel like you should have told me about English conquistadors in Egypt, taking away people and selling them into slavery, did you?" The younger country refused to make eye contact as he felt his heart rate quicken. The winged country noted this and continued, "do you know you were accused of taking the amulet?"
"I knew how you would have reacted," he finally replied, "how Faeder and Celtica would have reacted, so how could I tell you?" He turned to face his father, "It was an issue within my nation, and you had nothing to do with it. As long as the sellers found it profitable to sell slaves, my hands were tied with what I could do, as I knew anything that went against them would have resulted in a revolt. But remember, I am not my people; I have my own views and opinions but I cannot show the ones that contrast with the general populace."
"So you do not like it that you were accused of something you didn't do?"
England shook his head, so Anglo added, "So stop blaming your Faeder for causing every goddamn problem."
M: "Uh, should I have said that?" Derogan thought aloud.
"I don't know," Mandoria admitted, "I don't think Anglo knew about that as he definitely didn't seem pleased about the news, but then again, who would?"
Mandoria saw the confused looks on Johann and Celtica's faces so he sighed and explained, "I won't go into details since it is Rowen's personal business, all I'll say is that I saw his great grandmother and her son being shown off at an auction in London when British Empire and I were taking a stroll. I knew that she and all the other slaves would meet unfortunate circumstances if they were bought so I instead bought all of them, setting them free once we all came back home, Rowen's great grandmother decided it would be safer if she stayed here. I actually had Rowen's amulet made for her so she had something to remember her home by and it had been passed down all the way to him, that's why it's so important to him."
N: Johann muttered "oh," as he finally understood, but Celtica furrowed her brows when she heard.
"That boy is smart to have left," she grumbled, "He knows what I've been through with Roman Empire, and yet allows this to happen. England was also smart to have not told me back then, because I don't know how I would have reacted."
Just as she finished, England walked in, followed by Anglo, and none of them spoke as they went to their places and sat down. The winged country picked up his tea, and sipped, folding his wings behind him as he stayed silent. When Celtica asked how he was, he only hummed in acknowledgment but said nothing else.
"I did not take the amulet," England spoke up; however, he only stared into his cup.
M: None of the Mandorians spoke either they all just silently waited for Rowen to come back. When he did he let out a relieved breath and held up his amulet.
"Found it, it fell out of my pocket while I was in the stables, thankfully it didn't get stepped on by a horse." He said.
He sat down and immediately noticed the tense atmosphere, guessing pretty fast what happened.
