" Hey, big belly. " Gilinsky said as he walked in. I was laying with Matt on the couch, watching Peter pan once again.
" Hey! Where have you been? " I said as i ran up and gave him a hug. Ever since that fight with Johnson I hadn't seen him. I had seen Johnson a bit, but too much of Gilinsky. I was really happy to see him because we are close, and I missed him.
As i hugged him, Glinsky moved his hands to my stomach. I was due next week, and I assumed G came back for the baby and I.
Matt got up a bro-hugged G.
" How's it been, man? " Matt said.
" I got a girlfriend, and I really want Emma to meet her. You guys have a lot in common, " G exclaimed. " You have a lot in common. "
" Give her some time, man. She is due next week. " Matt said laughing a bit.
I giggled.
" There's that smile I missed. " G said.
I hugged him again. I missed him. We had been so close, he was my childhood best friend. I missed him a lot.
" Alright, well, I just wanted to stop by, see how ya'll were doin'," G said giving me hug. " I'll see you guys soon. Call me, text me, when the baby is coming, I wanna be there. " He took one last look at my stomach. " Later, mama." He said and left.
" Hey, Em, I wanna take you somewhere. Follow me. " Matt smiled as he took me to his car.
" What are we doing?" I asked with a smile.
" You'll see, babygirl. Just calm down." He said.
We arrived at a tattoo shop. Matt only had two tattoos. One of a heart on his pinkie, I had the same, that was to promise our love. The other was a dove on his upper arm, with a ribbon with my name on it.
" What is it this time?" I questioned laughing as I got out of the car.
" I'm gonna get a special tattoo. " He smiled, and we walk dint the shop.
" Hey matt! " The tattoo artist, who had a name tag that read ' Andy ' on it, greeted him. " Here for another? Its been a while. What shall it be this time?" He asked as he got his supplies out.
" I want Peter Pan. " Matt smiled at me as I teared up. " With my daughters name on iatt... " Matt smiled at me again, as I almost burst into tears. " Adeline. "
Thats it. Thats the name of our beautiful, wonderful, daughter.
" Oh my god, Matt. " I smiled as a tear of joy slipped down my face. He was going to get the shadow of Peter Pan, Wendy, Michael, and John flying in the night, with our daughters name in the moon. It would be on his back.
Matt knew that Peter Pan meant everything to me. It was me and my fathers movie. Every night, before I went to bed as a girl, he would tell me the story of Peter Pan and I never got tired of it. Not once. Then, one night, my father didn't come home from work. Then the next day, and the next day. We found out after a week, he was shot by a man on the way home from work. Why? Because my mom was that mans ex girlfriend, and he wanted her back, so he killed my father to get rid of him. My mother never took him back, of course, but Peter Pan was everything to me as a girl. We had made Adeline's room themed Peter Pan, and we wanted her childhood to be Peter Pan. I wanted he childhood to be better than mine.
I started crying tears of joy, as Andy put the tattoo on Matt. Once it was done i was a mess. He hugged me tight and whispered in my ear, " I will never leave you, baby girl, I promise. I will always be here for you. I promise you that forever. You are my everything, my all, all I want. I would rather be with you than a million beautiful girls. Your beauty still beats them all. I love you, my baby girl. I love you. " I cried even harder. " I love you, too, Matt." I managed to say as i squeezed him tight. We thanked the man for the tattoo, and paid him and everything, and left the shop.
When we got home, we watched Peter Pan. Again, and again, and again, until we fell asleep in each others arms, as we always did.
