"Sometimes I find that I am afraid of what lies ahead," she says. I understand what she's saying but I do not understand what she is meaning.

"What I mean by that is that the unknown is a scary thought to me, and even though it might be a scary thought to everyone I believe that I am the most afraid of it."

When she says this I know what she means but I do not understand her reasoning at all. I am just afraid as this thing she calls 'the future' as her. She is not the only one questioning her sanity with every twist and turn. There are many like us, in fact, and I think that it is terribly vain to think otherwise. We are never as brave as our mothers and fathers would like us to be, after all.
