"Maybe it's just one time thinking... Maybe."

(North Korea POV:)

RRRRIIIINNNNGGGG
RRRRIIIINNNNGGGG
RRRRIIIIN-

I slammed my hand down onto my small alarm clock in annoyance, really not wanting to wake up and go to another meeting... even if it means seeing China & Russia again, and the whole idea of America is confusing now.

I groaned, rubbing my eyes and slowly sitting upright and getting out of bed before grabbing a quick black shirt and hoodie with some jeans I had & took a shower.

[Le Time skippp~]

After I got out, I put on my clothes rather quickly and went to the kitchen to make some cereal. I just made some plain Cheerios, they've always tasted the best to me.

And then after I finished that, I got my dishes clean deciding to not be lazy today before going to the door and opening only to see the big area ive seen everyday for the past few months or years- I don't even remember it's been so long.

I sighed and went to the left toward the elevator, overthinking about America again and why he was so confusing to me.

'But I mean... he seems nice, but- UGH! No no no stop it, but- I don't know.. why is he so confusing!' North Korea thought in his head knowing about his reputation of hating him, why is he questioning it now? And how will china and Russia think about this?

He made it to the elevator, thanked that no one else was there. He got in and waited for the doors to close only to hear fast panting and a tired america come into the elevator.

'Great.. my day could only get so much better.' North Korea thought again. The doors closed, and the air was really tense and awkward, since no one was talking-

"So... how are you I guess?"

-I spoke too soon

"Um, I doing fine, I'm fine." North Korea answered simply, wanting to get out of there.

"Ok, so um... w-why do you hate me so much?" America asked hesitantly, not wanting to get yelled at knowing that probably will happen. He physically moved further right after asking that question and put his hands slightly out to defend himself, thinking of how north may react.

North Korea was just confused, he was also questioning that at the least. He wondered why he would make fun of him, america never did anything to him. So why'd he deserve it?

"I... I don't know, okay? This is just... all confusing right now." North answered truthfully, and america just nodded, not wanting to judge a book by its cover.

The rest of the way it was pretty silent. America and North Korea just stood at opposite sides of the elevator and stood there, then speaking to each other.

DING!

When they left, america needed to go to the restroom, so he just said a little "Bye" to north while slightly waving with a smile that north will never forget. (Or at least it looked like he was smiling, since he had sunglasses on) He waved back slightly, barely smirking before walking over to the meeting room.

As he turned around he remembered how even Americas slight smile was stuck in his head.
'Just ignore it, it'll go away.' He'd hoped.

As he kept walking he also slowly saw China and Russia waiting at the meeting room doors. He could tell easily by his the colors on them, China always wearing red and obviously him having stars near his eyes, and Russia having his ushanka every day with his usual 3 colors standing out.
