It was moving day and were u happy? eh could be better , who wants to spend an hour in a car with boxes pilled on your lap anyway? You were moving back to your hometown in California and oh was it joy. That town was fucked up for real. But there was never a day were youd be bored. Your into that shit anyway - i mean its been 5 years , you were only 10 till you had to move closer to a hospital for your mom. Maybe it's changed?
You made your way down the stairs with a bag draping off your back filled with polariods cigarettes and gallore. You waved to the car and got in the back.
"Y/n what the fuck took you so long?" Maddy asked , leading the g on like a whine.
"Maybe if you didnt hide my ciggarettes i wouldve been here quicker" i replied tugging at my seatbelt , rolling my eyes.
"Alright alright ladies .. chillll maddy put the location on the satnav. Y/n. Are you sure youve got everything?" Nate asked
Nate was an asshole. I act like i like him cause of my sisters sake but deep down he's using her for sex and fame.
They are always on and off and maddys using him for his money anyways. He seems like a nice person to me but i can tell hes faking it because hes with my sister and he knows damn well maddy would cut him off he tried to fuck with me.
"Yes i'm sure. How longs the journey gonna take?"
"45 minuites but an hour tops cause of traffic" replied maddy fixing her lipstick in the windshield mirror.
Nate nodded and began to roll out the driveway as i leaned my head on the car window gazing out of it.
I wonder if rues still hangin around there. She was my best mate my ride or die and her mom LOVED me. I still remember telling her my last goodbye and i didnt have a phone so we didnt stay in contact. It shattered me. I was in fucking pieces. But i was a kid.. she probally doesnt live there anymore though..
You slowly began to doze off as maddy and nate flirted in the front of the car.
