You hear your phone going off, and see it's your comfort character calling. They ask if you'd like to hang out, but you decline, saying there's chores you need to get done today. Putting your laundry into the wash, you hear someone's at your door. Looking through the peephole, it's your comfort character, who's here to help you out.
Thanking them, the two of you start cleaning up your room: dusting the furniture, making the bed, sorting through drawers to organize everything the way you want- that's when you find a burned CD that they gave to you, containing some songs you both enjoy, and some songs that remind them of you. You pop it into your CD player, and dance to the energetic songs, and lay down on the floor for the emotional songs. When the CD runs out of jams, it's already late outside. You let them spend the night, and the both of you cuddle to sleep close in your bed.
