I shyly blurted out ..."Happy Birthday Sir"

Since I had come to know of the tradition of honorifics I had decided to not comply but the words just rolled out of my mouth. After saying these words I could not even look up at my screen, I was being weird I don't know why.

He was a senior member of the club and the most apparent to become club president next year, I later found out. I was pretty sure the others on the call were pulling my leg but he did not say anything.

Meeting him after few months for the on ground meeting was what confirmed it. I found him attractive.
