I set the phone down and walked to my husbands office. "Peter, Violet and her boyfriend are coming for dinner and to tell us something." He looked up at me from his laptop with concern in his eyes. "Okay Mable, what are you making for dinner?" I thought for a second and answered. "Ribs, the kind that Violet likes." He smiled and looked back down to his laptop as I walked back to the kitchen to start. After an hour of cooking, the doorbell went off right after I finished setting the table. "Peter! The kids are here!" I walked to the door and opened it. Violet was standing there in some crazy makeup and with a tall skinny man with black hair. "Grandma!" Violet yelled as she hugged me. That was always something she did when she came to visit after her and zero moved out. "Hello Violet, who is this man?" She smiled and showed me her hand, there was a solid black ring with 'rebel love song' carved into it. "He's my fiancé." She gently kissed the man and he smiled at me. I pulled him into a hug and moved aside so they could come in. "My name is Christopher Mora but please call me Chris or CC." He smiled as he held his hand out. I shook his hand and smiled. "I'm Mable Sola but call me Mable or grandma." He smiled and chuckled at Violet. "Babe you still have makeup on." Violet took off running to the bathroom and came back with a nice clean face.-violets pov-
I walked back into the living room to find chris looking at all of the kiss posters. He looked back at me in awe. "My grandpa is quite the fan-". That's when a motionless in white song came on. You see, my grandpa is known for scaring away my boyfriends so everytime one came over, he would play metal or rock music to scare them away. To his surprise, he came in to find Chris and I singing along to reincarnate. "You're Cc Coma!" My grandpa said as he walked over. "Please sir, call me Chris." Chris smiled and held his hand out for my grandpa to shake. My grandpa shook it happily and sat down. "Grandpa, chris and I are engaged." My grandfather smiled. "That's awesome baby doll!! Good luck!" I smiled and my grandmother called us to dinner. We walked over and ate quietly. After we finished, I helped grandma with the disses and sat down in the living room. "Guys, I have something to tell you." They looked at me and nodded. "Today, zero was in an accident and didn't make it. He's gone." Grandma walked into the other room and I got up to follow. I found her in Zero's old room sitting on his desk chair. "Grandma..." She looked up at me and nodded. "It's okay, I need to accept it." I nodded and leaned down in front of her and hugged her. I held her hand for a while and walked back into the living room to find Chris hugging my grandfather.-chris's pov-
Violet followed her grandma into the other room and I saw her grandpa start to tear up. I walked over and sat next to him and put my hand onto his shoulder. "Sir, I can't say that I know how you feel but I'm sorry for your lose." He nodded and I pulled him into a hug as Violet walked in. I nodded at her and let go. "The funeral is tomorrow." Mable nodded and Violet and I walked out the door so they could have some time to process everything they had just find out. From what I know, I'm gonna love this family.
