The three girls rushed back towards the twin's bedroom because they heard someone approaching fast. When they reached it, they shut the door, and Hope quickly put up a muffling spell that took far too long in comparison to how she could do it in the past.
Lizzie jumped on her bed as she prepared them for what she was about to say. Hope and Josie followed and once they were settled, they looked at the blonde expectantly.
"You know how we were magical baby transplants?" She said, looking at Josie.
"Yeah, did that not happen?" Josie asked as Hope frowned at them both.
Like she could talk, her dad went from dead and infertile to still dead, but very fertile.
"Nope," Lizzie said, sighing. "From what I can tell either that spell doesn't exist here or we - or is it our cousins - were already dead by the time they were able to do a spell."
"So, if they wanted the coven to survive, they had to do a different spell," Hope said, softly, breathing out through her nose.
"And that new spell used the coven leader and a person they had sex with to make twins," Lizzie said as she made a face at the thought.
"Mom and Uncle Kai had sex?" Josie said, looking horrified.
Gross, she really didn't need that image in her mind.
She'd already seen enough in the vision.
Where was bleach when you needed it?
Lizzie's nose wrinkled. "Well, mom and dad had sex," She corrected.
That was such a horrifying thought.
"That didn't even happen in our universe," Hope muttered, making Lizzie gag at the idea of Caroline Forbes and Alaric Saltzman being touchy.
She couldn't even imagine it and she didn't even want to.
"Ew," Josie said, looking as grossed out as Lizzie felt.
"Wait," Hope said, looking confused. "How did the Gemini Coven even know that he had sex with someone?"
Both of the twins paused.
"I don't know," Lizzie said, uncertain.
Josie made another face. "That's creepy if they knew."
"Also, weird, because you'd think they would know if it was a vampire," Hope said, frowning. When the twins looked at her, she clarified. "Witches wouldn't like the idea of hybrids."
Lizzie nodded in understanding. "No, they wouldn't."
Josie looked at Lizzie. "How are we hybrids?" She asked.
"Well, our mom's a vampire and we're still siphoners like our new pops, so I'd guess that we have vampire blood similar to Hope," Lizzie explained.
"So, if you die, you'll turn like me," Hope said, looking between them.
At least, they wouldn't have to worry about drinking vampire blood as a precaution - it was already in their system.
"What if that's why we're considered abominations?" Josie theorized.
"What do you mean?" Lizzie asked.
"Not because we're siphoners, but because we're hybrids," Josie said, looking between the two.
"Think about it, Hope was hidden in our world, so she wouldn't be treated differently. What if that didn't happen for us here."
"Well, the school definitely seems to know way too much about you two, so that's not a stretch," Hope said, brushing her hair out of her face with her hand.
